I don't care about them anymore because they really aren't true friends, we might have a good time together, but they aren't helping me become a better person or being a wingman to find another girl. But yes it is a bit of a bitch move, I'm guessing because she doesn't trust my friends.

Because everybody needs some decent acquaintances... like I said, I'm in a bad environment, I need to find new friends and or move regardless of the situation.

You're friends are basically holding you back... Don't surround yourself with those people.

We are both 21.

But she DOES seem a little bit controlling... I just don't know if that's due to the fact those friends are bad apples or that's just her, so I don't know whether I should get into the relationship and play it by ear and when/if it becomes toxic, I get out.

Honestly, I was with them all the time this year for quite a few months. They are deadbeat losers to be honest, I'm not saying I'm some HIGHLY successful person with my shit totally together, but I at least have a little bit of plan regarding school and want to better myself. These "friends" do nothing but smoke weed all the time. One of them got fired from his job for being an idiot, and the other isn't much better. These guys are holding me back regardless of the relationship. I'm okay being good acquaintances with them, but I'd rather get out of mediocrity and better my life with other people.

I've known these "friends" for a while. Only started being decent friends last year, got into that stoner phase for a while and stopped a month ago. They aren't going to change at least for a long time.

Basically ended up being a little beta male bitch. Started putting the girl in her place and she likes me more again and I have most of my friends back (decided to cut a couple who are little shitheads anyway). :oldlol:

Read the warning signs. If she is acting like this before you're together, her controlling nature will amplify as soon as you commit. DO this at your own risk, but please do your best to eject early if things get too shit and don't just put up with abuse for years and then enter in to a retarded marriage.

That's her in the middle. She's pretty cute, the options in my town are so limited because my whole town is around 22,000 people, and when you account my age group, there isn't a lot to chose from. I know the other 2 guys that have a chance with her, but her behavior just isn't acceptable to me.

Whenever she finds out or you invite those friends over while she is around just tell her that she can't control you. That ultimatum isn't on you it's on her. Unless your friends are scumbags of course. She might just be trying to get you away from shitty people which could be a great thing.
