sure enough, i missed the 1986 Celtics, who had the #1 defense in the league.


and yet no one could point out that i missed Jordan's greatest individual performance against a #1 defense and top 3 all-time team... :biggums:

6% difference in 1985 and 1986, and then after that, it's the same as today, and actually a SLOWER pace from 1993-1998.

As you can see, Jordan showed he can 3-peat with a faster OR slower pace than today's game.
