The most important information after the game is that the Rodney Hood has a calf strain and it will be re-evaluated tomorrow. According to the Tribune, the Achilles has been ruled out as a possibility.
Why was he of all people guarding Crawford on the play though? :wtf:
The Jazz had five 4th quarter turnovers, which were crucial in the loss.
Hill doesn't turn over the ball.
But Joe Ingles, instead of shooting the three, drove and had the ball stripped to almost conclude the contest.
It wasn't his shot. He's more of a catch and shoot guy than dribbling and taking one in traffic. Joe Johnson or Burks who of course wasn't even in the game should have been getting it
a calf strain should allow him to return this year.
ya think?
I wouldn't be surprised to see Snyder give the gig to Sefolosha, to allow him to have the biggest impact defending one of Oklahoma City's stars.
Probably. He's looked good. He just can't shoot! I'd start Burks and let him do his thing. They've neutered him. I could see O'Neale too,
"I've got you out there to shoot the ball."
He's certainly not out there for any other reason
In order for the Jazz to avoid stalling their offense, they need their best shooters to shoot open shots.
They will be forced more often than not for their worst shooters to shoot open shots. Rubio certainly hasn't been shy. Anyone still think Favors can become a 3 point threat? He clanked one as bad as Rubio! He has extended his range a bit though

No Burks. No Neto. Maybe give Jerebko some run? Try something else anyway

If you're going to play big you certainly can't get dominated on the glass. Burks would have helped in both areas too. Too bad he didn't attend Duke I guess

Favors, Hood and Johnson need to go. Maybe they can package them together for one stretch 4?

That likely puts Sefolosha, who started 42 games for the Atlanta Hawks last year, in line to start his first game with the Jazz.
Why is it likely? The Jazz go from 1 1/2 shooters to one in the starting line-up with him instead of Burks or O'Neale

Re: 2017-2018 regular season...back to square one again
While the start of training camps remained on the same schedule this season, the NBA moved up the start of the regular season by a week in the hope of reducing fatigue by reducing back-to-back games. Now the question is whether reduced preparation has led to the increase in injuries.
