He's 100% right. You can't trust anything processed or prepared for you.
Sugar, salt and fat. Food companies/restaurants figured out what sells decades ago and have no conscience or oversight. Want your customer to come back? Make sure you gave them enough of what they want.
Sauces, soups, canned goods, processed meats, it's endless.
How many people actually read nutrition labels or understand them? Gotta read labels.
Most of the developed world is hopelessly hooked and doesn't have the education to understand what is going on.
