that's a very subjective question OP. for me I can literally m[COLOR="Black"]as[/COLOR]turbate to photos of raptors players holding the finals trophy I've done it a couple of times already.

What I have always loved about this picture is Isiah Rider in the background looking like he is at a funeral.

There is another picture where AI is taking the shot and Mark Madsen is yelling in his ear from the bench. I'll try find it.

in terms of photo composition, i like it. i won't say it's "THE BEST" but i think this is a photo that many photographers who are not basketball fans could appreciate.

there's balance and simplicity, but everything is there.

the subjects are clearly defined. no other players, no fans, no refs etc to clutter or make a messy background. the subjects have a clear separation. the photo tells a good story. there's a decisive moment. olajuwon's jersey and motion with the ball in action with shaq's facial expression as well as defensive position tell everything about that moment, which is what photography is about. and there's even a time stamp of the event.

other little details of composition:

- the curvature of the 3-point line is positioned well and pleasing to the eye. it's not too high, it's not too low. it just creates enough space of the inner perimeter while revealing where they are on the court.

- the logo on the left side balances the play action on the right. the photo wouldn't look as good if the subjects were dead center from this angle.

- there's also angular play and a lot of lines. again, it wouldn't look as good if the wooden floor was completely parallel to the frame.

I realized they don't put the Finals logo on the court or on the front of the players jerseys anymore. I wonder what was the last series they did that for (my guess 2014), and why they stopped doing that

I used to like that. They had the championship logo in the middle of the court during some of those years. The *YYYY Finals* on each side. It looked different. Everything seemed more important.

Ha! I had those shoes Shaq is wearing. They had a little CO2 cartridge that you used to fill a bladder up with air. They looked great but they sucked on blacktop. I slipped and fell all the time wearing those damn things.
