Rondo/Kawhi were on 4/7 finals teams from 2008-2014 and they each won a championship after that as well.
A prime kawhi/Rondo duo would destroy LeBron/Irving or even prime LeBron/Wade because Kawhi is so much better then LeBron as it is and Rondo compliments Kawhi perfectly.

I have no problem with Kawhi. They lose because they are the Clippers. Kawhi's big mistake was going there. He could have remained a national hero by staying with the Raptors, or made a near unbeatable Big 3 with the Lakers.

He already was a national hero for winning a title with raptors, nobody will ever do that in another 1000 years. Now he's going to win with Clippers who also haven't won in a 1000 years.
