Then why do you try to point it out from time to time?

I never mentioned a point total
certainly not since Towns has been out. It's January now not October. Try to keep up
They've been barely .500 team all season with or without Towns
6-2 with Reid though

at least we're using a huge sample size

His contract is genuinely, unequivocally offensive. He famously cannot survive certain playoff matchups. His Minnesota impact is shakier than we ever imagined. And yet, they stupidly gave up EVERYTHING for him. It’s already one of the 21st century’s worst sports trades. How could they trade him now? It’s like watching a buddy splurge on a fancy pool table that doesn’t quite fit the room and will immediately lose 76 percent of its value, plus nobody will ever use it, only nobody can figure out how to sell it online. “Hey, anyone want to come over and play pool tonight?” Nope. No thank you.

The scary part isn't the contract, it is all the stuff they gave up to get him.

remains to be seen what they gave up to get him. No one that is all NBA, all defense, DPOTY...

So what? They got a ton of draft picks and rotation players. Obviously it remains to be seen what the draft picks turn out to be but the players certainly seem to be productive in Utah.

yep and they would be one of the best teams in the league if they had Gobert. Defense and rebounding are their weaknesses

And what did that get them? A couple early exits amazing.
And what did that get them? A couple early exits amazing.
it got them a couple playoff upsets. They were a lottery team without him. Imagine him now with an all star PF instead of a 6'4 PF, a coach that makes adjustments, guys that play hard at both ends and share the ball(excluding the bum)...

Utah had Gobert for years. We already know how that story goes.

yeah we that story with that coach and those lineups. We don't know it with the current coach or current roster. We do know that they suck at D and are getting killed on the glass despite playing bigger than everyone

Not even a single trip to the conference finals during his tenure there. :ohwell:
