What you did since Israel was attacked is turn the attack around and make Palestine the victim versus Israel. You understand individuals can own land. What about the Palestinians who have been forced to leave/displaced because the land they once OWNED became part of Israel? (international law has condemned this).

I didn’t deny there are a lot of people who have been radicalized by the government in Israel. The same thing has happened in places like Iran and Saudi Arabia. What’s wrong is when we generalize about an entire population.

I don't pretend to know all the answers in terms on how to find peace in that region. From my understanding, Israel has given land back to the Palestinians. But I cannot sit back and justify the use of terrorism and the stance of genocide against all Jews to prove a point. Electing a terrorist organization to represent them as they lob missiles into Israel on a daily basis accomplishes nothing. And it's almost like Israel is hated because they incur less damage due to their Iron Dome system and because they dish out more damage due to their superior military.

100 innocent Jews die, and the anti-Israel crowd wants 100 Hamas to die in turn. It doesn't work out that way. Imagine telling the Allied Forces to take it easy on Hitler. :facepalm

But Pat, that's like giving someone land with no easement... the land is useless without the means of doing anything with it. Sure Israel returned the land (yes, lets also keep in mind the word returned), but they have controlled every aspect of what goes in and out of that land. Israel has maintained control over trade, water, electricity... everything. For someone who is pro-freedom, pro-liberty, your views do not reflect that here.

Do I think the attacks on Israel is wrong? Of course, I would classify Hamas as terrorists myself because of their method of attack. But if Israel is a country that is mentioned along the lines of USA, Canada, UK etc. they need to be held to the same standard. They cannot stoop to the same level and just start leveling PUBLIC sites in Gaza. They cannot just flip the switch and stop power in hospitals. Will you make a dent in Hamas? sure... but you are affecting millions of innocent people making themselves no different than the enemy they're fighting.

Israel is losing its support because they have pushed Palestinians into a corner. Giving them land, but do not give them permission to utilize it. Same with their water, power etc.... this creates anger, then hatred, then terrorists. While this is happening they start to encroach and enlarge their colonies...
