Additionally, the sources say his present employer, the Philadelphia Sixers, are confident they will retain the much-traveled Harris, who this year averaged 20 points and 7.9 boards in the regular season, both career-highs, shot 39.7 from 3-point range and served as a go-to guy on a contending Sixers team.
This is the obligatory inclusion. I do not think Kevin Love is an option and I believe all the talk of Love to Utah is being floated out there by Cleveland to build a trade market that does not currently exist for the stretch shooting big man. While he can light it up from distance, the question with Love is can he guard the four spot? The answer as Love gets older might become more and more of a resounding no. He can guard the five, but then Utah finds themselves in a similar situation with Favors and Gobert. Two big men who play the same position but cannot spend a lot of time on the court together.
There's too ends of the floor. Love can shoot. He fits. :wtf:
Other than having a fantastic name, JaMychal Green is another value play for the Utah Jazz at power forward. He shot 40% from three last year and can rebound the ball well. He could play small ball five in a pinch. He
Despite several potentially enticing alternative options, the Utah Jazz should keep Derrick Favors this summer and see what he can do with Mike Conley.
Why? we already know Favors man will be guarding someone else and he will be paid a lot for not very many minutes
Obviously, trying to advise the Jazz on what to do would all depend on who is truly available. If players were beating down the door to sign in Utah, perhaps the argument to let Favors walk would be stronger because of the abundance of options. However, though we may never know specifics, there could always be that chance that the Jazz were open to parting ways with Favors, but the right interest from other parties simply never occurred.

Re: Off-season - Post Conley trade
Bojan would be a nice fit I think. With the West open and Conley being 32 they need to go all out now. Even if that means trading Exum and his "potential" you go for it. Rudy is in his prime, if it fails then you've still got a 25 year old Donovan Mitchell to rebuild around again after Conley and Ingles are likely done.
