Let's grab a defensive PG....Walt Frazier
Nique
Isiah & drexler
McHale
Thanks. Hakeem has a great team so far. Don't know about Champ though, just my opinion.
A bit unconventional, I know, but I'm thinking somewhat flexibly in terms of positions and playing styles. This roster is versatile by design, with two of game's greatest winners in Magic and Russell tying it together and keeping everyone in check.
Wilt - C
Russell - PF/C (who loved to pass out of the high post)
Barkley - SF/PF
Iverson - SG
Magic - PG
McHale - 6th man (PF or C)
Nique - Dynamic scorer off the bench (SF, but could play SG in a pinch)
I don't know if I have the best team, but I do have the best rebounding one (so far), along with the best scorer and playmaker in the draft.
I'm going to stick with defense and take the underrated Nate Thurmond
Rick Barry
Walton. The draft is gonna get pretty brutal after this :lol
I just realized my team is insanely good
A lot of the teams just have names thrown together with no thought of chemistry
I'm sorry but I have the best shooting backcourt + Giannis/Davis who recently won titles scoring 30ppg and are the best defenders in the league when healthy
Giannis is a dominant penetrator surrounded by 3 incredible shooters, two of which are the best of their position all time.
I vote for myself

That's cute. Hakeem & KG are arguably the best defenders ever at their position. :pimp:

Giannis and KG are close defensively and both extremely versatile. but Giannis is a tier or two better than KG offensively.. would've won back to back championships scoring 30+ppg, over 12 boards and 5+ assists had Middleton not got hurt... that's insane. And he's surrounded by Klay and Bird shooting when he penetrates. Not fair.
I'd go with Melo
Walton. The draft is gonna get pretty brutal after this :lol
Nah. There's still plenty of great players left on that board.
Elgin Baylor
Robert "the Chief" Parish - I need a complementary piece for my front court options and the Chief is the ideal man: strong, agile, very consistent, possessing an impressive mid-range jump-shot and a solid low-post scorer and rebounder over many years. The Chief will elevate his teammates. A 9x All-Star, Parish formed a formidable front court with Bird and McHale in the 80s, helping to neutralize some of the very best centers the NBA has ever seen.
George "the Iceman" Gervin - another pure scorer to add to my wings, Gervin was one of the most unstoppable scorers in NBA history: 4× NBA scoring champion (1978, 1979, 1980 & 1982). Lethal and efficient within 15 feet and the perimeter when there was no 3-point line. His other personal accolades included 9x All-Star and 7x All-NBA.
iamgine - Jordan, Jokic, Robinson, Miller, Rodman, Isiah Thomas, Drexler
Champ - Magic, Wilt, Russell, AI, Barkley, Dominique Wilkins, McHale
John8204 - LeBron, Kobe, Doncic, Erving, Moses Malone, Walt Frazier, Thurmond
AlternativeAcc. - Bird, Giannis, Klay, AD, Stockton, Ewing, Barry
SouBeachTalents - Curry, Kareem, Dirk, McGrady, Pierce, Oscar Robertson, Walton
Manny98 - Durant, Shaq, Pippen, Harden, Payton, Lillard, Melo
1987_Lakers - Hakeem, Garnett, West, CP3, Havlicek, Nash, Baylor
Hakeem Olajuwon - Duncan, Kawhi, Wade, Allen, Kidd, Karl Malone, Parish, George Gervin
Bob Pettit, only player to beat Russell in the Finals.
2x MVP
Reed
Worthy
Westbrook
He's actually been pretty great in international play with several other stars, so he's best with a limited role off the bench as an athletic freak/spark plug
John8204 -
PG - Doncic, Frazier
SG - Kobe
SF - Erving
PF - LeBron
C - Moses Malone, Thurmond
Looking at who is available and my needs...I'm going to go ahead and grab Pistol Pete Maravich as a scoring sixth man..great 3 point shooter and passer Pete could get off his own shot..frankly this is a no brainer.
I'm also very happy to see who I can get with my ninth pick. I've got a solid four guys that fit my team very well.
The other "Mr. Clutch," who always raised his game come playoff time - 10x NBA champion Sam Jones.

good pick
Tiny
I was going back and fourth between two players I was hoping one of them would get picked to make easier on me...but they didn't.
PG - Doncic, Frazier
SG - Kobe, Maravich
SF - Erving
PF - LeBron, Mikan
C - M. Malone, Thurmond
10 seasons 7 championships (5 NBA/BAA, 2 NBL), top 30 all-time in PPG, George Mikan was a big with a soft touch who could score with his right or his left hand.
iamgine - Jordan, Jokic, Robinson, Miller, Rodman, Isiah Thomas, Drexler, Cowens, McAdoo
Champ - Magic, Wilt, Russell, AI, Barkley, Dominique Wilkins, McHale, Sam Jones, Tiny
Who says I won't take him? Lol
I don't know whose fukking turn it is, idk whose left.... op is lazy as hell
Pretty sure it's my turn
It's OP's turn. I have two players in mind. Both won a chip as teammates.
One is less talented but more team oriented and has intangibles.
The other is clearly more talented but often looked as a bad teammate who might kill team morale.
