Being "buddies" with Epstein isn't proof of anything though. If Epstein was truly a spy whose job it was to get close to powerful people, that doesn't mean each and every one of them was baited using underage girls. You can't just assume that ALL of them are going to go for that. He likely had other illegal or shady operations going on too. I'm sure some people were bribed with money or god knows what. So no, having business ties to Epstein doesn't automatically mean you were visiting the island and playing footsies with teens.
To give you a real life example, I used to work with this guy when I was in my 20's. He was older in his 40's. Funny guy. Mostly everyone in the office knew him and was friendly with him. Turns out he was living a double life as a discount Bernie Madoff. He went to jail for scheming investors and stealing like $700k. I used to laugh with this guy all the time, talked to him almost daily for like a year, went golfing with him once... never once guessed that he was a criminal.

Do you know what plausible means? It's plausible that you were dropped on your head as a kid, but that doesn't mean it's 100% true.
I think it's plausible that Trump could be guilty but I would guess that he isn't. I think he could have other reasons for wanting to keep that information concealed. I also think that if the intelligence agencies had Trump dead to rights this entire time, we would have heard about it by now.
I've talked about this before on here. If it came out that he was guilty I would be extremely disappointed and I would think a lot of less of him as a human being, but it's not like I would be regretting my support or anything. I'm still proud to have voted for him. OJ Simpson was a murderer but he was still a great running back, you can't take that away from him. That theory doesn't make sense either. If he really wanted to downplay the whole Epstein angle, he could have. Biden held office for 4 years and was so insulated from it that he never had to entertain a single question about it.
There were rumblings on the right about bringing the Epstein stuff to light but Trump could have insulated himself from it just the same if he really wanted to. Instead he did the opposite, he threw gasoline on the fire.
He could have hired some no name loyalist to head the FBI and no one in his base would have objected. But no he hires the guy who's making the rounds on social media and actively calling to go after the Epstein clients. You could say it's all an elaborate plan to make it look like he has nothing to hide, but again that's an extremely huge gamble. It would be much safer to just downplay it from the jump.
