Another guy they are familiar with. Similar system in Atlanta too. Kind of old for a 2nd year guy but looks to have some potential.
So we have Bradley, Allen, Long, Cavanaugh and maybe Lyles for G-league plus the number 1 pick which is supposed to be a high school phenom.

Already forgot about Kidd. Maybe a G-league spot? Maybe too old for that
The Utah Jazz and Turkish side Darussafaka are still negotiating to free Stanton Kidd from his contract with the Turkish team, a source told Sportando. Jazz would love to sign the player to a two-way contract but Kidd has another year left of his deal with Darussafaka without NBA outs.
News broke Wednesday that the Utah Jazz would be using their second two-way contract to sign forward Tyler Cavanaugh, despite previous reports that the Jazz and summer league standout Stanton Kidd had been close to a deal. With Naz Mitrou-Long occupying Utah
He played his rookie season in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks last season switching back and forth between his G-League assignments. He made some solid contributions for the Hawks, appearing in 39 games and starting in 1. His best game came on November 13th against the New Orleans Pelicans. Cavanaugh scored 16 points on 6-7 shooting (4-4 from three) and snagged 6 rebounds coming off the bench in 18 minutes.
Not bad. I like the pick-up but again he spent last year in the G-league. You'd have to hope he's going to be ready to be on the regular roster at some point. He's already 24. Looks pretty good in the highlites. Lots of pick and pops but he shows some game. Might need work on his body. Appears to be long?
The Jazz have the fifth highest winning percentage in NBA history as a franchise (was actually a little surprised when I looked this up) with a record of 1914-1646. They were arguably the second-best team during the reign of Basketball God himself, Michael Jordan. Had that Jazz 90
Derrick Favors has had one of the more interesting careers of any current player on the Utah Jazz roster. He was traded to Utah in his rookie season, worked his way to bordering stardom, then experienced some injury setbacks that coincided with the rise of Rudy Gobert. This past season, he remained healthy and effective all year long, but saw somewhat of a diminished role as the league continues to move away from traditional big men.
He's never bordered stardom. :wtf:
The Pistons were one team that reportedly loved Mitchell during the pre-draft process, and even Mitchell suggested he thought they would select him with the 12th pick. However, Detroit went in a different direction, selecting Duke guard Luke Kennard.
Cost some people their jobs. I liked what I saw from Kennard though. Jazz would probably like him too.
He was particularly effective in the first round series against the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 28.5 points per game and leading his team to a six-game series win. Many fans and analysts would argue he was the main reason they were able to defeat Russell Westbrook, Paul George and the Thunder.
The game they blew the 25 point lead with Gobert on the bench would tell a different story. One of the worst teams in the league without Rudy.
Over the last few season, the Utah Jazz have been able to do a terrific job of constructing a roster that is built to withstand the bruises of an 82-game season.
They have? They missed the playoffs one of those years and underachieved in another
Two years ago, CBS Sports released their rankings of the top benches in the NBA, and Utah was listed at number one. Since that time, not much has changed in terms of depth for the Jazz. They have continued to boast an impressive starting five, and a deep, talented bench to go with it.
Hasn't yet turned out that way though. What looks ddp at the beginning of the year doesn't look like it later. This year you have at least 3 guys in the rotation and two starting that don't fit. Is that deep? I'd rather have shooters myself than this imaginary depth
Without the serviceable talent of the bench, the Utah Jazz would likely not have been a playoff team over the past two seasons. Even when getting to the third player at each position, guys like Raul Neto and Ekpe Udoh played significant roles when dealing with injuries to Rudy Gobert and Dante Exum.
Two years ago they would have made it because Rudy and Hayward were healthy. Exum off the floor is a good thing! Rudy off the floor and they are one of the worst teams in the league
Dante playing more than O'Neale? Bad enough that Ricky is!
As it stands right now, the Utah Jazz project to have six guards on their roster for the start of the 2018-19 regular season: Ricky Rubio, Grayson Allen, Donovan Mitchell, Raul Neto, Dante Exum and Alec Burks.
This does not account for Naz Mitrou-Long, who is on a two-way contract, nor recent signee Jairus Lyles.
Added all together, that would mean the Jazz would be carrying eight guards on their roster next season, or put simply, over half of the roster spots the NBA allows a team to carry. Even on a rebuilding team, that number is ludicrous.
Lyles is in the G-league and 4 of those guys could play the 3.
The problem with Burks has never been his God-given abilities, it
The event will take place at a neutral site. This is needed as the league has outgrown the facilities most NBAGL cities have in order to host a record-high 27 teams that will tip-off the upcoming season. The league is on course for 30 teams within the next
