Kansas looks satisfied and unmotivated, Kentucky wants it more.
Wow, Robinson can really dribble.

Davis mom has a sense of humor. Thats his sister.
Halftime: Kentucky 41, Kansas 27
Kentucky shooting 53%, Kansas just 33%
For Kentucky: Doron Lamb 12 points, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist 11 points, Marquis Teague 9 points. Anthony Davis 0 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, 3 blocks
FOr Kansas: Tyshawn Taylor 8 points (but on 8 shots), Thomas Robinson 8 points and 6 rebounds (but shooting just 3-of-11), Jeff Withey 5 points (but just 2-of-6), 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks
Davis is making HUGE contributions for Kentucky despite not scoring a point yet.
Davis is going to be a dominant defender in the NBA, he rebounds like Dwight Howard and blocks shots like Ibaka.
Davis will be a good starting PF but not a perennial all-star.
BTW Kansas looks like they're playing offense in slow motion.
Also, they got discouraged by the game and their defense has suffered as a result.

I think he has offensive talent as well. As a soft touch around the rim, a good jumpshot and he's a really decent free throw shooter, he's just off today and he doesn't really look too worried about that, playing great despite not scoring.
I think this game is just too physical for KU.
If they don't start getting calls, then they are out.

Get out of here.

I know it's an unpopular opinion. I just feel like he will never be a consistent 16 PPG+ scorer.

He already has a good-looking jumper...he's athletic, and has a developing post-game.

Just my hunch. :confusedshrug:
I think he'll make a 3-5 all-star teams.
When is the last time the consensus number 1 draft pick's team won the national title?
I know Rose came close with Memphis...

Thats fair. Should be cool to see what he ends up becoming. Like you said unpopular opinion but we (Davis supporters) cant act like we can see the future (otherwise I'd win lottery all the time).
