He and Gasol bothers are the best spanish players on their team. Rubio should learn how to play like Juan Carlos Navarro. I want to see him play again in the NBA.
Do you know the differences between PG and SG?

That's like saying Ben Wallace should learn how to play like Dirk...
Navarro's an absolutely insane shooter. Carried Spain to a championship, and is a well-deserved MVP.
Navarro's an absolutely insane shooter. Carried Spain to a championship, and is a well-deserved MVP.
:facepalm
Clearly top 3 players in Europe. Would love to see him back in the NBA (Lakers, anyone?) and have fun this time around.
:facepalm
Well by "carried", I meant "led". He was definitely the best player on their team.
EDIT: While Pau Gasol obviously played really well, I don't feel like he played nearly as well as JCN. You may feel differently, but from watching every game, I felt like Navarro was clearly better.
Didn't want to make a separate thread and reading Euroleague's posts throughout this one, I thought this pic would be good for here:

It's a box score for Zalgiris Kaunas, the team Ty Lawson and Sonny Weems signed with. Guess who was the leading scorer for Zalgiris? That's right, NBA player Ty Lawson with 21 points on a whopping 70% SHOOTING
Who was the leading scorer overall in the game? None other than former USC standout and 15th ranked high school player in the class of 2006, AMERICAN Davon Jefferson with 25 points on 52.4% shooting. Jefferson was a US reject who wasn't even drafted. I watched Jefferson in person at the Drew League this summer. The guy was a scrub, and that was summer league. Just like I said before, Drew League>>>>>Euroleague. NBDL>>>>Euroleague.
 at Vassilis Spanoulis being one of the top players in the world. The guy is Euro trash that sucked big time when he got his chance in the BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD, the NBA. Juan Carlos Navarro is actually pretty decent and had a solid rookie year for Memphis. But let's be real here, Navarro is AT BEST, a solid 6th man in the NBA, possibly a starter at PG on some teams. FAR from being better than "95% of NBA players"
So by your logic Dawon Jefferson > Ty Lawson and Drew League > NBA , awesome !
Spanoulis isn't half the player Navarro is, and he never was...
He never was close to being the best greek player either...
Almost all the coaches in Europe say Spanoulis is the best player in Euroleague. But you know better right................
great player for spain but cant wait to see paul/wade/lebron shut him down. :)
Like they failed to do in 2008..........
Well that's exactly what I meant, except for Jasikevicius I do believe that his playing style wasn't ok not only for GS but for all the NBA. Too much IQ and too little athleticism, basically. :D
Saras did fine with the Pacers. It wasn't until he went to the Warriors that he didn't get to play.
:facepalm @people acting like prime NBA stars wouldn't dominate euroleagues.
I guess the WC didn't convince some but after we kill the field at the Olympics I guess we'll see.
*In actuality we won't because NBA players are in a lose/lose situation overseas.
-If we win FIBA was cheating and we should have by more because America's population is so dense.
-If we lose the games were fair and we are nothing but some athletic individuals with no skill.
*Mind you, who led the WC in assists and steals (iirc) and played the best D overall?
1 American played really well at the World Championship, and even he was outplayed in that tournament by Luis Scola, who "dominated" more.
Scola - 14/5 in Euroleague and 18/8 in NBA.
You = delusional
:facepalm
Obviously you didn't watch the tournament.

You are such an idiot that you don't even realize that is not a Euroleague game.
