I think MLS team can Galaxy or SKC
If Quakes win they will have an easier route though. Plus, all three MLS teams will have to play in Mexico, which never is easy for any MLS teams, on the second legs.
We will see how things will turn out.
I was so pumped for Toronto FC vs Seattle till I realized wont be here lol

Yea, seattle vs toronto is a great matchup and I don't think there was such a marquee match with stars in the lineup. Closest I can think was back in 2011 when LA played NY(Henry's first match against LA) that featured Donovan, Becks, Henry, Juan Pablo Angel(was a hell of a striker back in the day), Rafael Marquez. Robbie Keane didn't join LA until that Summer.
Brings a tear into my eye seeing as the league has 4 "Mega-teams" in Seattle, NY, TFC and LA. Back then it was one Mega team(LA), then came NY with the spending, then SEA and now TFC.
Chad Barrett won't start. It'll either be Kenny Cooper or Dempsey if he's fully fit.
The best matchup will be Bradley vs. Ozzie Alonso, probably the two best CMs in MLS.

Hopefully CDemp is healthy to go. He's been having nagging injuries and i'm sure that turf field doesn't help it.
And yea although Cooper hasn't been the best lately I think he's a very good striker. Hasn't lived up to his potential though unfortunately. Mario Gomez lite but tried to play as a winger which is stupid considering he has a massive body and a very good finisher.
Dempsey, Martins, Alonso, Pappa, Evans, Marhsall, Yedlin, Bradley, Defoe, De Rosario, Julio Cesar(GK). Alot of notable players who played in Europe or NT players.
But I think we'll see Toronto struggle though. Too many new guys and Seattle is a no joke team(well managed) and one of the most consistent sides since their expansion season.
I'm curious to see how Bradley is used. Probably as a deep lying playmaker
Can not lose two in a row to begin the campaign
Defoe earning his pay right now the bat. His goals were nothing out of this world but characteristic of a quality striker. There aren't too many natural finishers like that in this league. He should have a hayday this campaign.
Bradley was true to form as well. The guy was all over the pitch tonight...

I was glad to see Dempsey score but man, he acted like a punk all game long and should have a red card for that cheap shot on bloom.
Cooper's always had great tools to be a target man but tries to play like he's a foot shorter. It's got to be a frustrating to be a fan of a team he plays on.
Bradley was all over the place yesterday. His work rate is insane and he really caused all sorts of trouble with his ball pressure. I thought Seattle had control of the game but that back pass from Pappa was suicidal and Defoe did what he does best - finish his opportunities.
I saw the Philly game and the Union look really good. Mo Edu will be one of the best CMs in the league along with Bradley, Beckerman, and Alonso. The other two new signings, Maidana and Nogueira have improved the team a lot.
Shitvas is balling. Held on to draw despite it being 10v11

another nice win.
1-0 TFC is the final! 2-0 for the season already!!   :pimp:
First respectable roster that they've fielded since our inception. Loving the ferocity Bradley plays with. You can really feel the buzz circulating around this team.
back in the states wish this weekend toronto vs salt lake was televised on NBC
TFC never has a striker as sharp as Defoe. Koevermans was very productive in different way when healthy. Chad Barrett is just a generic MLS level striker. Earnshaw was okay but is a one-trick pony.
Bradley is also another level of anchor midfielder. Frings was great but was on his last legs. De Guzman is only productive when surrounded by bigger stars and TFC then didn't have any.
Nelsen also has his defense set up since last season so now he can reap some rewards this year.
You're forgetting about prime DeRo when he was with TFC who's one of the best this league has seen. Frings and Kovermans were solid but very old and injury prone. Can't rely on 35 yr old DP's..
