Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
MJ played like three seasons less.
Is that the best LeBron stans can do? Comparing like 7 of MJs seasons to 11 of Lebron's?
Well when it comes to projecting how good Lebron's legacy will be at the end of his career, I'd say it's rather relevant.
There's no indication Lebron will have to retire 3 seasons early because his ''college years'' were in the NBA. (not to mention take a 1-year hiatus in his prime) I don't think Lebron's body is any more ''broken down'' than Jordan's was at 29. Quite the contrary.
So yeah, i think age is a fair way of comparing both players.
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
lebron has surpassed jordan a long time ago
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
he's no MJ, but he could end up somewhere in the top 5
what the fk is wrong with the Jordan stans ? They are close deal with it, Lebron averaging 30 points thus far in the playoff , in a much tougher era
How can this era East be a "much tougher era"?? The east has been as weak as ever, and averaging 30 in the playoffs in one year will not make it, Jordan has a career playoff average of 33.4

Still waiting on Lebron stans to post Bron's achievements to compare them to MJ's.
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
no way is mj being stopped by boris diaw
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
mj/kobe are the opposites of oscar/lebron. If not for colluding, lebron wouldve been oscar 2.0
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
I know that MJ is the GOAT, but the more I watch Lebron these days the more I think that he's a more dominant player than MJ.
Even more so when I watch Cavaliers Lebron videos, especially in 2009, he was godlike during those years.
Can we wait until he even has 1 threepeat? Christ.
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
I guarantee OP has not watched more then two or three MJ games.

Two of Jordan's main rivals were the bad boy Pistons and the early 90s Knicks... those teams were as tough as they come, and MUCH tougher than the teams he's facing today. So no, I don't feel that LeBron's better than Jordan, and that's not even taking into consideration game 5 against Boston in 2010, the entire 2011 Finals (especially the 8 point game), and losing in the Finals twice, something Jordan's never done. Also Jordan's jumper was way more reliable and LeBron's jumper only got decently reliable when he went to Miami. Jordan had a 72 win season as well, followed by a 69 win season, both in the later years of his career, while the most LeBron's gotten in a season was 66. LeBron's probably the best in the game today, but had too many failures to be better than Jordan all time... Jordan would NEVER have done what LeBron did in game 5 against Boston or score 8 points in a finals game.

Perhaps, but Jordan had rare longevity as a superstar. He was still averaging 32 per game in the playoffs at 34, and this kind of production is the exception rather than the norm. LeBron may be a similar kind of exception, but you can't just "assume" he'll be that good well into his 30s.
Re: The more I watch Lebron the more I am starting to think he's better than MJ
Last year, Lebron was one missed Ray Allen shot from being a laughing stock again....but now he's the GOAT.
OK....
