HELL NAH! Drexler HANDS DOWN was better than Butler. Better scorer, rebounder, and passer. And one of the ULTIMATE freak athletes in NBA history. Along with MJ, he brought 6'6 and up freak athletic ability to the backcourt. Those types of players at that size and athletic ability were SF's traditionally. BUT MJ and Clyde were such complete players that u could play them in the backcourt. And hell play them at the PG, SG, or SF. I know Clyde's handles catch heat. But in terms of his passing ability and ability to carve up defenses with his slashing, he could be the primary facilitator.
Jimmy is easily the better defender. And when it comes to combining scoring, passing, rebounding, and defense AS A PACKAGE, Butler peak-prime wise is turning into a top 10 SG OR SF. Whatever position you list him as. I will give him that. But Drexler was the better player. Not on knock on Jimmy, but Clyde is a top 5 or 6 GOAT caliber SG. Peak-prime wise, he's right around that same level as well. But with this Finals run, Butler's HOF chances greatly increased. It appeared he was on track for a case to get in before. But now his chances went up substantially.

Butler would be lucky to average over 17 ppg back then even on average efficiency, but defensively he'd have been a beast back then with the rules in place
Drexler better but Butler a better overachiever since Clyde especially after MJ destroyed his psyche never really played up to his full potential. Butler achieved his full potential despite all the odds being against him
