Re: Won't I live longer if my immune system is stronger from beating Covid w/out vacc
The first case of chicken pox was discovered in 1658.
Chicken pox link to shingles was discovered over 200 years later.
We first thought the natural immunity derived from overcoming chicken pox as children was sufficient to avoid shingles in adulthood. We were wrong. Many people suffered.
The recommendation was changed from natural immunity to innoculate everyone with varicella vaccine to thwart adult shingles in the 80s. It only worked in half the population.
The sop was changed again to a dedicated shingles vaccine in 2006. Two doses of shingles vaccines gives 90% efficacy for 4 years. So imperfect, but an improvement. Should sound a little similar to covid procedures if you're paying any attention.
The chicken pox virus is pretty well understood by us. It took us over 300 years to understand and relatively effectively combat one of it's worst long term effects.
We've been working with Covid now for 2 to 3 years. It's long term effects are still yet to be fully unraveled.
Discovery takes time. "Science" takes time. You know less than we do and we know little. A little humility would be wise.
Science takes time. Dont worry about taking this rushed vaccine with no completed long term studies though.

Have you seen the long term studies on that crack you smoked?

The side effects of vaccination are well understood compared to the long term effects of the novel virus. There is a traditional vaccine available for those that still fear the mRNA vaccines.
You thought you had a nice repartee, but then you think a lot of foolish things. For well-documented reasons.

Rand Paul:
"even the CDC doesn't recommend measles vaccine for people who had measles already.. the same was true for small pox"

natural immunity has proven to be superior - it's hard to finnagle your way around that fact

Rand Paul is no longer a licensed physician. He's solely a politician. If you desire medical advice from your politicians, so be it.

He's reading studies from doctors and the CDC
Have you been hypnotized or something? You can't respond or concede so you say something irrelevant like Paul isn't a doctor anymore?
Vax shamers aren't following the scientific studies and are simply using this situation to act self-righteous and shame people - so they're low character people.. period. those are the facts.. natural immunity is simply better.. heck, the risk of dying for people under 65 is the same as driving a car

Cool, as long as you understand that I wasn't listening to Rand Paul - I posted a clip of him reciting scientific studies by doctors and statements from the CDC
but why am i trying to enlighten you out of your sheep-like misery.. carry on
Re: Won't I live longer if my immune system is stronger from beating Covid w/out vacc
Antibodies are same regardless of whether they are from the actual disease or the vaccine. The vaccine simply 100% ensures you get the full antibodies response (an infection will expose everyone to different amounts of the virus so number of antibodies would differ from person to person) and that you can't get the actual disease from the vaccine itself.
Why would you want to go through an illness when you can get the same antibodies through other means without having to get the illness? It's not like the antibodies from the disease will be stronger than the antibodies from the vaccine.
Also, if you think antibodies from the disease itself will last longer than the vaccine, that won't be the case afaik. You will lose the number of antibodies over time regardless of whether you got it from the virus itself or vaccine.
There was a time when blood-letting via leeches was cutting edge medical science for the treatment of blood disorders. Skeptics would have been deemed laymen simpletons. Fools to question the learned, in-demand doctors who served as personal physicians to the crowned emporer himself.
Nobody gets things right all the time, but intuition varies from person to person. There were surely smart, "unlicensed" people who thought leeching was absurd. And they were undoubtedly shouted down by professionals and quotidian bootlickers who sought esteem from sucking up to people in charge.
You and bladefd are the kind of guys who lack intuition, and rely on simple parroting of those whose image and status you aspire to hold. You are not a doctor. But it's obvious you badly want people to have that impression. You didn't even know that a vaccine is a medical drug. You're not smart and you're not interesting, and you're desperately using politics to create that sort of illusion for yourself. I wish you wouldnt do that. It's fine to exaggerate how good you are at basketball, or how many chicks you get, or how much money you make, or whatever you wanna lie about. But not politics, man. Stop using politics to make yourself appear to be things you arent. Stop sucking the dick of powerful establishment groups and lobbyists because you think parroting their message makes you look enlightened. This is the one area where being a giant poser causes real social strife, because you're tipping the balance of power into the hands of a few by being such a submissive pawn.
Stop using politics as a vehicle for personal grandeur. Stop using it to make people think you're intelligent, intuitive, insightful, sagacious, morally elevated, or whatever thing that you wish people would recognize you as. Because it creates a lot more problems than it solves. And it doesn't work anyway. Nobody thinks youre those things.

Good post. Wise words.
Unsure how politics became like religion - mine is better than yours, I am a better person than you because I believe in X or Y.
Especially when people haven't thought themselves, just repeating what they are told by biased sources.

Leeches are still used in medicine.
Oldtimer is your alt.
You're a high school grad with malignant narcissism so severe you think you've outwitted some of the smartest docs in the world. This is known as delusional thinking.
3 facts. 3 more facts than your entire rant.
Have a blessed day.

What makes you trot out this account instead of the Filipino boy one, I wonder...
Therapy can help you with your problems. You are beyond my expertise and it's difficult for me to resist bullying you so this should be the end of our conversation.
