I hear what you are saying and I agree. Outside of cutting water and electricity to the region, I can agree with how they've handled Hamas and Gaza, but there is no simple solution in the end. If Israel is easy on Hamas, they regroup and then commit another terrorist attack in a few years. If they're too forceful on Hamas, they send Hamas back to the Stone Age, but then alienate the rest of the world as they see the innocent Palestinians dying as a result. What I'd like to see is more people understand that Hamas put these Palestinians in this position, and not so much Israel. There's a reason why Abbas is willing to work with Israel and Hamas is not. And it's easy to see and believe in the notion that Israel created Hamas out of necessity, but that's something I can never agree with. Terrorizing Israel is not key to preservation. It's only key to certain death. More death. And being a victim of radical Islam (as an American), it's very hard for me to side with radical Islamists. Ever.

But as of right now, Hamas is still firing rockets into Israel and still has hostages. So I don't see how Israel stops leveling buildings in Gaza.

Tons of Jews have come out as pro Palestine. In fact of all my Jewish friends and Jewish people I follow online, including my family, I have not seen one anti-Palestinian post. I’ve seen some that don’t have the exact same view as me for sure but everyone of them has been wanting the violence to end and acknowledging Israel’s crimes. I don't doubt that there are Jews that "stand" with Palestine, but I would not be surprised if a lot of those Jews are scared to speak out against Palestine. Antisemitism is on the rise in this country per the statistics. 60% of hate crimes in this country are against Jews. So to have a group stand in unison with Palestinians strikes me more as preservation rather than agreement with those Palestinians.
