I can't even begin to tell you how much I would avoid any sort of clinical trial that offered $7k for two weeks of work. You don't figure maybe there's a reason they need to pay people an exorbitant amount of money to do nothing except be guinea pigs?
this...
I have been trying to avoid the piling on threads unless I am directly invloved, but Starface, PLEASE don't brag about how great your life is in one post and then in the next post talk about the fact that you are entering a clinical trial to be a guinea pig.
In my old job we did consulting work for big drug firms like Novartis, Roche and MSD (Merck), and the one thing all the people there said they'd never do personally is participate in these things.
Be VERY careful as to what you test and what they make you sign.
Seriously.
It may seem very harmless, but it could easily cause irreparable damage to the kidneys, liver, pancreas etc...
And if you are gonna live that 'Hollywood Life' you'll need those in fine working order.
There is a reason they are testing it.

Why are you guys so touch On Mr. Beasley?
I mean the dude is a young man trying to make it in Hollywood. Why are you guys stomping all over his aspirations? I wish I had to the balls to go to Hollywood and try to make it as an actor. It's a pretty crazy life decision. I am in college as most people my age are. And it takes a lot of guts to deviate from this bourgeoisie life path and pursue something different like try and become an actor.
Props to you Mr. Beasley. Keep your chin up and I'm sure you will run into some sitcom or movie roles.

Yo JDG what oil company are you working for? I have been trying to weigh the pros and cons of going out on the rigs myself. Though i'd be roughnecking or something, and from what you said yours sounds a little better:oldlol:

If you or JDG want a future in the oil industry, start out roughnecking or start out as a field hand for a service company (Halliburton/Schlumberger/BJ). If you like being outside, like cussing, like BSing all the time and like having fun, it's the job for you. There's a lot of down time (meaning you aren't slinging chains or tripping in pipe or running casing 24/7) but roughnecking can give you a lot of experience. It's a dangerous job but it will pay the bills for you and if you have a family and a wife that is really supportive, it can be a great job.
Just don't fall into the lifestyle all the way (strippers, dip/smoking 24/7, prostitutes) and you should be fine.

I don't work out in the field. I work in shipping at one of their office/fabrication shop/mechanical repair/warehouse locations. I've only been there three days, but can't complain so far.

I have no desire to have a future in it. But the money around here would be great. And very little is needed other than a drivers license (obv got it) and h2os ticket (could easily get it).
Yah what I heard from everyone is try not to get into the lifestyle. Lots of drugs, booze and hookers. I smoke a ton already so they couldn't taint my soul with that lol.
Yah jdg I figured you weren't out in the field, you seem like a smarter guy than that. Not saying it's dumbass work, just would be a waste.
Okay, back and refreshed after a good night's sleep. So Chris, you asked and I provided numbers specifically for my production yesterday and my personal income for last year. Now I have some questions for you.
1. What is your income and from what source is it derived? This info can be found on your tax return from last year, assuming you filed one.
2. How much money do you expect to make when you break into the entertainment industry?
3. Will you still go by Chris Samuels or will you have a stage name?
As a matter of fact, yes!
She sent over the first finished copy this morning. (What happens is during the shoot she takes continuous pictures with a few different outfits and backgrounds, then I pick a total of six that I want professionally cropped and edited. The first one is done and on my computer).
I will post it........
......as soon as Gobb tells us right here in this thread what he does for a living.
Ga'head Gobb. Everyone wants to see the shots. Don't disappoint 'em!!

I'm hayden695 of course. And I wouldn't take it as a compliment. You have just made a name for yourself as an ignorant, spoiled kid who has no sense of the real world and is trying to live in a fantasy where he thinks he will be some star.
But hey, maybe I am wrong. Prove it to me oh great Tito Beasly.

Hayden isn't a nobody, and if I'm not mistaken we've all chatzy'd quite a bit with Catz; not a stalker.

Dude you posted about being a lab rat in THIS THREAD. All he has to do is read the thread to know what you do, he doesn't need to hire Sherlock Holmes to look this shit up.
-
Re: starbright, starlight, starface...
And the catz reference is a joke. It is a bit of a long story but I used a picture of his for an avy and made my location to go along with it. I thought it was pretty clever. Though I guess I am not as bright as someone who feels like getting drugs put in them for some money is a good idea. If only I could be as smart as you starface, alas I am not.

you better maintain this loyalty when it comes time to buy tickets

Re: starbright, starlight, starface...
Why is posting headshots a big deal anyway? You guys do realize that literally anyone who wants headshots can get them right?
The real question is how the hell is this guy going to get any casting director or agent to take 15 seconds out of their day to acknowledge that he even exists. Headshots w/ no credits, no training, and a d*uchebag countenance/attitude= shit in your hands.

:wtf:
i didnt create this thread about me. another poster did. apparently some people's world's (deucewallace, gobb, legend of josh, rufuspaul, petes montreux) actually do revolve around me. also, if you look at the commonality of physical appearance of those posters........you can see why some jealousy and vicarious living would come into play.

I'm curious how he does it as well. I wish him the best of luck though. If he makes it, it will make for a interesting story in itself.

Re: starbright, starlight, starface...
The line is getting longer!
To answer your question, it's beginning to look like all I really need to do it send a prospective agent a link to this thread, so he can see just how many people seem to be keen on following my every move.
HOWEVER, the time has come for me to stand on my principles. I will not post in this thread again until Gobb states what he does for a living. And it can't be a sarcastic, facetious, dismissive answer. Gobb has to state in complete earnest what it is he does for a living, as a profession, to earn income, etc.
Otherwise this thread and the prospect of my posting headshots in it are dead to me.
n*gga please :oldlol:
If I title 9'd you we still wouldn't be playing the same game. Difference between me and you, regardless of how great and notable you think you are, is that within my first 3 months of pursuing acting, I got a starring role on a major tv show... had the director personally sit in on my call back audition. And just a week and 1/2 ago, I was signed to an exclusive deal with a major bicoastal talent agency.
So forgive me if I don't hop on your bandwagon.
