I went to North Korea through a day trip my Korean doctor friend told me about. It was about 300,000 won (30,000 yen?) for the day. Not one of those lame DMZ tours, we went into Gaesong city. It was like a ghost town. You can't go on the tours any more, so I was pretty happy I went.
