The former Zack Ryder has evolved in a way casual WWE fans would never expect. :lebronamazed:
Cardona drew atomic heat by trolling hardcore indie fans. :oldlol: But he also went into it deep.

Gage more times than not pushes the envelope too far for me, but I'm definitely watching tonight to see how he works with jericho.

It's tomorrow, but yeah. Gage, other than his massive notoriety among fans, hasn't been proven in a bigger stage like AEW yet.
This is obviously is Jericho's idea, with Moxley's approval of course. I know Gage can do decent actual pro wrestling match, but how can he balances what he has been excelled at and what he should do on live national television has yet to be seen.

God Damnit! I got my days mixed up. Looks like I'm watching it on demand :lol
Three references in tonight's Dynamite show pretty much confirming one thing:
- An show happening in Chicago
- Darby's promo referring to "The Best in the World"
- MJF's pretty reciting the opening line of the Pipe Bomb promo
CM Punk is coming to AEW.
Also, an little milder version of Nick F*cking Gage death match on national TV, completing with glass panel spot and light tubes smashing and stabbing.

That was cool. I felt like I was a teenager again. JR name dropped Muta  What a ride and then I marked out for juvie because it feels like he's going reach back and pull out his lionheart style next week.
Jericho is going to be one of the first names I tell people when they ask who is the best wrestler I've ever seen.

Some people have already mentioned that this Five Labours of Jericho seems to be either a retirement tour or This Is Your Life thing.
- 1st Labour: Shawn Spears representing his root as a Canadian.
- 2nd Labour: Nick Gage representing his early days with indie wrestling promotions like FMW and ECW.
- 3nd Labour: Juventud Guerrera representing his WCW years.
So, you may expect the 4th and the 5th to be about WWE and NJPW respectively. Could be Lance Storm or anyone with history with WWE. Could be Suzuki Minoru, Naito or anyone in New Japan roster now that the AEW-NJPW alliance seems to be secured.
WWE needs to sign some new talents. And Keith Lee needs to stop jobbing.
WWE released Bray Wyatt
Can we all agree that WWE is just slightly less gay than MMA?
WWE released Bray Wyatt
WWE kept fumbling on pushing Windham Rotunda so badly.
Giving him the belt when he was the Eater of World, then quickly lost to Randy Orton in a very weird match.
Giving him the belt when he was the Fiend, then quickly lost to Goldberg in another very weird squash-like match.
Almost all of Bray's big matches in major events are losses. And, yes, win-loss in pro wrestling matters unlike some people say.
Not sure if Vince is trying to unload higher-paid stars to overload AEW and maybe bankrupt it? :confusedshrug:
Ric Flair is now officially out of WWE as well. WWE had kept him around by a legend contract.
AEW might try to get him for possible Four Horsemen reunion (Arn and Tully are active, Dean is around, Brian is represented by his son and JJ was there a while ago).
The former Ever-Rise in NXT, now under the name "2.0", will get a 6-man tag match against Moxley, Kingston and Allin on this Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
They gradually got better on NXT but the "budget cut" mass releases happened months ago. I hope this will be a platform for them to stay alive in pro wrestling scene.
I actually enjoyed Randy Savage's stint in WCW. He can still put some great matches.
RIP "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton
He was a big part in WCW as a tag team specialist, mostly known as one of Midnight Express, and a stable mid-carder. He was 62 years old. :(

Just read some great Tribute on Bobby Eaton. Chris Jericho told some great stories about him.
Another round of WWE/NXT releases:
-Bobby Fish
-Bronson Reed
-Jake Atlas
-Ari Sterling
-Kona Reeves
-Leon Ruff
-Stephon Smith
-Tyler Rust
-Zechariah Smith
-Asher Hale
-Giant Zanjeer
-Mercedes Martinez

It would be a great rating boost for the debut episode, but shouldn't they keep it for the First Dance show in Chicago next Friday?

chavo is doing the heavy lifting for andrade in the promos. smart pairing :applause:
AEW is also getting Daniel bryan apparently. wwe is basically finished when goldberg, brock and cena finally retire
Keith Lee was off for 5 months because, according to him, he had to deal with COVID and then heart inflammation, a fatally serious condition.

Peacock deal gave wwe 5 billion. They have issues... Oldberg main eventing the second biggest ppv i agrree with you is a problem but I don't think Punk and Bryan going to AEW hurts wwe.

Punk allegedly said he wants to work with young guys in AEW. He is a student of this business and he will pass the torch to those who deserve it. Danielson would do the same too.

you dont think that the biggest prime name in wrestling going to aew will hurt wwe?
the only guys that can draw a bigger crowd right now are the rock and stone cold and they're both retired

WWE can't sustain themselves on drawing crowds for past stars. That's actually what I find most boring most about their booking. They burn their biggest PPV's on those feuds
Another issue is Orton's seat at the table. He's petty and uses his influence against the people he doesn't like.
They have prime talent they can pull from NXT.
Punk himself won't kill WWE. What he symbolizes does hurt WWE. AEW is giving their fans what they want. Good example was Christian winning last night

punk WILL kill wwe because he has a cult following and most of wwe's fans are those hipster nerds that chant cm punk every show. kids don't even watch that sh*t anymore. tbh they're more into AEW cause of jungleboy, darby allin and orange cassidy
kids are basically grown up and sick of john cena and roman reigns is a bad guy now.
they don't even have a face for their company now
and with bray wyatts firing while being popular and selling merch nobody will trust management and they won't feel like their job is safe no matter who they are. that and bryan/punk going to aew will be the beginning of the end for wwe
cm punk sold out the united center in under an hour. he can fill a stadium. nobody in wwe can do that right now
What a wild weekends.

Christian was such a cool moment. I know I complain about the old guys taking the spotlight, but I change my tune when it's someone i like :lol
Christian was one of my favorites growing up

Atomic Chicago crowd, man.
Punk does move merchandise sales extremely well too. I hope this will be a great investment for AEW.
Also, the resell ticket prices for All Out are now through the roof right after Punk's debut in AEW. $993 average!! :kobe:

That was the biggest pop I have ever seen from a crowd
WWE in shambles right now
Shit gave me goosebumps. Punk even said he left wrestling in 2005 and he's glad to be back now. Absolutely destroyed WWE in his promo.
According to Punk's post-show press conference, it was Renee Paquette aka Renee Young who invited him to do WWE Backstage, which legitimately re-sparking his passion in pro wrestling again. Of course, people around Punk had been trying to do that but he always shied away from until Renee came in.
Every higher deities bless her. :applause:
