Re: NFL Season 2025
I’ll continue to tell no lies.
Jalen Hurts is a very good quarterback and yes is calm and a winner. He is NOT elite.
I get tired saying this because it seems like I’m trashing him which I’m really not but I also get tired of people putting him in that top 4. He just isn’t there.
Not saying you’re doing that by the way but just my thoughts since Jalen is the topic.
If you have Lamar Jackson top 4 and act like Jalen had no case thats some backwards ass logic.
Hurts has been awesome in the playoffs while Lamar has struggled multiple times. Both are runners, but Jalen has a better ball through the air. And his style converts so many 4th downs and TDs at 1 yard that he makes Philly feel unstoppable. Absolutely an elite MVP level QB in the NFL.
You need to pass some of what youre smoking to me because I like to catch a buzz sometimes too.

It's not really "logic". I watch both players play and the degree of difficulty with the things that Lamar does is higher. He makes a wider array of throws from a variety of different platforms, has a better arm, and is in general more fluid as a passer. Jalen is a little stiff as a thrower and has a comparatively slow release. That and Lamar is quicker and has even an greater ability to escape pressure than Jalen does to make seemingly impossible plays out of nothing.
Again, most of Jalen's completions are digs, short outs, and curls with the occasional 1-on-1 deep ball. He can't throw the entire route tree nearly to the same level as the other guys, particularly Burrow, Mahomes, and Allen.
He's a very good quarterback and yes he is a great leader and a winner. He's more in the same tier as a guy like Stafford (maybe pre the most recent injury) than the top 4. Which is okay. Stafford is a gamer, Super Bowl winner, and eventual HOFer.

Re: NFL Season 2025
Hurts playoff stats crush Lamars. I'm not sure what you been watching but to act like they're different tiers in Jacksons direction is straight up silly.

The same thing everyone else who agrees is watching :lol
One player looks better than the other and can do more things at a high level. At one point Troy Aikman had a better playoff record and numbers than John Elway and I don't think anyone other than Cowboy fans thought he was actually better.
-
Re: NFL Season 2025
Its not playoff record. Its how they played. Lamar has crashed out before and been mid other times. Jalen pretty much just always showed up well. Extremely well actually.

Come on now. :lol
Spit on the ground at Jalen Carter direction while the two were talking shyt. It doesn’t excuse Jalen for spitting on Dak. But it gives context to why Jalen engaged. Dak baited him by spitting first. He didn’t spit randomly come on now. He just so happen to be talkin smack. Walking towards Jalen and spitting to the ground while laughing. Wasn’t by accident. He baited Jalen. He fell for it. He has to eat the fine and missed last night game. The last guy is always the one who gets caught and/or goes extra. First guy gets away. Dak not innocent is all I’m saying. You know it. I know it. Cut it out

Re: NFL Season 2025
I saw an angle on reddit. Dak baited him perfectly. Spit on the ground in front of him and laughed then got in his face and the big dummy spit right on him with ref visible.
Reminds me of Reggie baiting Starks. Do dirt while no ones looking, and make a show of it in front of the ref when they retaliate.
Nice chess move.

Just glad dude's fukk up at the end of the half by going out of bounds which led to a KC FG didn't come back to bite San Diego in the ass.

Six feet feels like a generous listing, maybe it's accurate but he doesnt look even that big on the field to me. Maybe has a long neck that gives him some extra numerical height. He definitely is a little taller than Welker, but functional size they feel similar.

Welker was listed at 5'8 and change drafted. Ladd is clearly bigger but its a silly argument to semantic over.

Per usual you’re reaching. The difference is nothing more than 2 people at a holiday dinner standing size by side. The difference is hardly significant where someone says and implies “oh wow you got bigger!”. I don’t require a couple inches in height where the weight is similar = you’re bigger.

Yeah you’re remedial.
Week 1 is here fellas and girly boys…
Saints
Dolphins
Raiders
Jets
Commanders
Jags
Bengals
Bucs
Niners
Broncos
Texans
Packers
Ravens
My picks. No rhyme or reason. Really lookin forward to see how Travis Hunter and Cam Ward do in their debuts. And how well this giants “scary front 4” plays.

Welker wasnt even listed at 5'9. A bit below. He was legit short guy for a football player, albeit he was a great one. Mid range specialist dink and dunker at all pro level with Peyton and Brady. Does McConkey play like that? It seems like they a actually throw long balls to Ladd and let him make an athletic play.

So predictable lol You have no shame. Very sad.
Anyway as I actually watch football while you don’t. Colts taking belt to ass so far. Giants DL so far has been overhyped but it’s still early. I just expected them the smack commanders in the face. Travis playing more offense than defense in his debut.

This year we have 2 new tackles, Tunsil on the left and our first round pick Conerly on the right. That is a huge upgrade. Plus we have JD5 who is a.cheat code against the pass rush.

Yeah you guys upgraded the protection no doubt. But Commanders also ran it down Giants throat as well. I just didn’t see all the hype of the Giants DL with those practice videos that was to put the league on notice lol Commanders were in control of the trenches on offense all game.

Yeah the YouTubers here were saying that the plan was to bully the giants. 220 yards rushing I think it worked.
We drafted a rb in the 7th round #22 and he looks like the best rb on the team.

Probably the reason why you guys traded Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
