plus those types of cases do nobody anygood, even if he is proven right the publicity and facts about his life, her life and anyone else that gets dragged through the mud during the trial is just horrid... better to settle the case and put it to bed... not an uncommon approach by many high profile people who have dealt with these types of things.
It's natural for players to hate the players who beat them. Teams hate Kobe because they wish he was on their team, whether they say so or not. No matter how much they hate him right now, if he was playing for their team they'd love it.

When you're a whore and you have semen samples of someone who is susposed to be testifying for you, the evidence kind of points against you...

The semen samples only means she had a sexual encounter around the time of her incident with Kobe. It was not revealed if they were already there before or after whatever went down with Kobe. A good lawyer would have been able to prevent the jury from hearing about her sexual past, possibly including the semen sample from the other man.
And you seem to have forgotten about the blood found on those same panties. Seeing that in this instance Bryant admitted to the girl's refusing to allow him to bust on her face and then leaving the room in a hurry after the sexual encounter than enough evidence existed to bring the case before a jury had she chose to testify. Again not passing my personal opinion of what happened, just stating what likely would have occurred had the court proceedings not been halted by the settlement.

Blood doesn't mean rape. More like, her being on her period. Sure she had a case she could've made, but if he really raped her, I doubt she would've settled out of court for about 35% of the money she would've got, and to let someone who raped her go about his buisness.

You can't compare Kobe's teammates to Lebron's teammates. Lebron has legit teammates while Kobe had TERRIBLE teammates. If he played bad in a series, I would say it was PARTIALLY his fault but there's just so much you can do when your starting PG is Smush and starting C is Kwame.
