Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
The only stat that matters: Boston 4-0 New Orleans 1-3
He doesnt rebound at a higher rate.
You're right, career-wise, and I will agree that this season is too small a sample to be sure that CP's rebounding has fallen off permanently, but at the same time I can't see Paul have a rebounding stretch like Rondo did in the last playoffs. Rondo showed what he's capable of at his best, and it was pretty incredible.

When you look at the teammates the two are playing with, it makes no sense to talk about wins and losses. Cs are still 4-0 if the two are traded, no question.
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
I like how some of you justify Chris acting like a phenomenal blowhard like we're in highschool here or something.
"He said this about Chris, and chris isnt about to take that!"
Uh, these are professional athletes. If someone doesnt have a high opinion of you, who cares?
Im sorry but Chris Paul strikes me as a huge drama queen.

To be fair, it WAS a contract year for Rondo. It's been said that he may have been trying to prove his worth to gain some extra cash or get the attention of potential buyers. Don't get me wrong, I still think the kid is an incredible talent capable of churning out those kinds of results on a consistent basis, but I'm sure the prospect of a new contract motivated him quite a bit, too. At least he didn't incur a 50+ point loss at home, a la CP3...
Either way, contract year or not, the guy played his ass off in the playoffs. Nothing can be said to discredit the hustle and determination he displayed in that ORL series. And that dunk on Howard? Just plain filthy.

How does this relate to CP3 vs. Rondo? Trade those two stratight up and the C's are still 4-0.
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
This team has Sheed, Pierce, KG? Think of all the trash talking that goes on. This is an elite group of trash talkers and an elite team in the NBA. The elite group of trash talkers train the other scrub trash talkers into becoming legit superstar trash talkers as well as backing them up for it. It's a team that will mess with at least a few players' emotions. Boston has been like this for a while though and it is just a big deal because Paul gets mad and tries to get a peice of Rondo.
Players feeling get hurt. Does Boston care?
No. They are too busy winning.

This should be written into the NBA rulebook next season. Word for word.

"I would rather play on Pluto"
Re: Chris Paul Has To Be Restrained From Entering Boston's Locker Room
Rondo would beat CP3's butt in a fight. CP3 is obviously better in basketball. Rondo is underrated however.

I'd have to say I agree with this. Paul is the best PG in the game, but whenever the ball stops he leaves me scratching my head with the things he does. He just needs to grow up.

While it may seem immature for Chris to behave that way, Rondo is bragging about when rings when all he did was ride three HOF's for it. Now I am not saying that he did not have a role in achieving that goal, but lets be real here. Chris is a much better player than Rondo will ever be and Rondo knows it. Which is why the only thing he could say to CP3 was about that one ring that he lucked into. The one ring in which he was considered to be the weakest link on the team, yet he starts bragging. Drama queen? Nope. If that was the case, he would have invaded the Lakers locker room last year after Kobe just threw him out of bounds and he got called for a foul.
