actually kobe explains this in the latest issue of esquire. he says the helicopter is to "save his body" because he is so banged up he cant ride buses or cars for too long.

I hate traffic. That's why I could never live in NY or LA. 25 minutes versus 3 hours because of traffic? F that.

Sorry Charlie but Kobe makes alot of money per year. And with 1 more season (next year) before he is due another contract? That next contract will be for [B]BIG BUCKS[/B]. So this signficantly less pay you speak about? Wont happen no time soon. Its years away if that. His helicopter bill is no issue. :no:

This is one of those things that, as a 'normal' person', pisses you off before you even think about it. But once you think about it... why not? He has a helicopter, you don't... get over it.

Believe it or not, I actually think it's kind of cool. Seems like more players should employ this method... although I don't buy the 'spending more time with my kids' thing. haha.
