NCAA Championship 2010: #1 Duke vs #5 Butler game

The entire second half so far has been close, within four points.

At 12:00 Duke leads 47-43. Singler has 15 points and 6 rebounds.

Jesus, Duke gets away with a clear foul and Butler gets called for a terrible charge call. 2 clear fouls on 1 play, but Butler gets called for a foul instead...

Well, at least Zoubek picked up his fourth.

The Scheyer charge call was a bit weak but Butler got lucky here having that foul charged to Zoubek. It looked like it should've been on Singler.

At 11:21, Gordon Hayward drove hard into traffic in the paint and drew the 4th foul on Duke big-man Brian Zoubek. That's key. Zoubek has a game-high 8 rebounds right now.

Duke leads by four.

Zoubek clearly hits his arm on a layup and tries to act like he didn't touch him lol

I agree.

Zoubek has no offensive moves, he pushes everyone in the back, and only gets rebounds because he's 7'1. The only time this guy will ever score is off of an inbound gimmie. Even on his offensive rebounds all he does is look to kick it out.

The fact that he had a look of astonishment when he got called for a foul after clearly raking Hayward was ridiculous..

I'm loving how close and competetive this game is.
I hope it stays this close to the last shot.

Butler needs to pull ahead. Duke will hit a three or something and they won't catch up. If Butler pulls ahead, even by 1 Duke is going to start looking at each other and wondering what they need to do.

So duke gets a continuation and1 but mack doesn't get the same exact call in the beginning of the game?

Chippy game. Refs have swallowed their whistles completely on loose-ball fouls both ways. Pretty much only on the ball stuff is being called now.
