Re: LeBron wants YOU to send the HATE to his twitter
OMG...I can see now why he posted that Oprah.com article...
But the backlash was pure hypocrisy. The media and fans alike had furnished a seat for LBJ at the center of the world, then seemed irked when he took it. Worse, the one-note vilification ignored the nobility of LeBron's move: He took less money to win championships, the sports world's ultimate selfless act. Consider the $6 million in ad revenue generated by The Decision that went to charitable causes, and suddenly the picture looks a whole lot less sinister.
Re: LeBron wants YOU to send the HATE to his twitter
And I agree, some of the things people hate on him for are ridiciulous. But lets face it....some of the things he does is ridiculous too.....but i think some are blurring the ridiciulous actions of his, with the not so ridiculous, and he does get unfairly bashed for stupid reasons now.
I get the TV show, the Boston series and leaving Cleveland (to an extent), but Twitter posts and t-shirts are pretty mild.
Thank God Ali wasn't doing his thing in days of the internet. No one could've handled it. :oldlol:
Re: LeBron wants YOU to send the HATE to his twitter
He posts it so the people that follow him can read it. In theory, they would be his fans. He thinks that he had a good game, which he did. Is he supposed to pretend like he didn't?
He had a good game but his Team LOST...
Guess he's supposed to pretend like that doesn't matter either.

It's a ****ing preseason game. :oldlol:
Re: LeBron wants YOU to send the HATE to his twitter
Dude can post about how he went for a walk, and went shopping, and people will now jump down his throat for that as well.
Rightfully so. People don't jump down their collective throats enough. There is a lot more jumping down needed. Seriously. Who the fu(k cares if/when he went shopping? I mean... it is not newsworthy. Many people go shopping each day you know. :oldlol:
Oh, you went for a walk? That's nice... I guess. Good for you, man.
Lebron out there in preseason playing harder than game 5 :lol
i just sent him a tweet, not sure how it works though since it's not showing up on his page. it's on my homepage and on mine though...
@KingJames Yeah great game, LeBron. This idiot's trying harder in the preaseason than he did gm5 against the Celtics. #DelonteGettinAtUrMoms

Yup, The Decision generated $6 million but they only donated $2.5 million. Yet he said on national TV it would be ALL proceeds huh? I'm wondering if LeBron know how to count?

I'm not even debating with you, bro. I'm already aware that no matter how hard anyone tries, they ain't prying LeBron's balls out your mouth.

It's Twitter. That's what it's for.

But for LeBron, his STATS for a ****ing pre-season game matters and needs Re-Tweeting for everyone to see!

No, you just don't have an argument to make.

I know. I've already said a few posts ago that adults using twitter make me question their mental state.

I think the t-shirts and such came at a time when people found Lebron to be a bit quizzical in the first place.....
People were like...."ooooookay, this guy kind of seems like an attention whore asshole...but we're not sure quite what to make of him, and of it"
People were questioning if the dude cared about team, or his own personal game.....he would refer to himself in third person, and it kind of threw some off...
Then, he came with these ridiculous shirts, about his MVP, and checking his stats, and it was just ridiculous to most people....Then you had the questions of this dude quitting on his team, etc etc....
So, the combination of all of these things, mixed with his little one hour special of him bouncing out on Cleveland, and people now, are just completely turned off, to the point of ripping this guy at any chance they can get.
Its progressively gotten worse for him over the years, but mostly by his actions....not by some wild imaginary fluke. He brought this out initially, and now its almost its own entity.
And people couldnt STAND Ali back in the day either.
