Re: About this Wade > Kobe..
KG isn't top 10 and Kobe has had a better career than him for sure.
BTW Heavincent, where's that thread at?
Better Career for sure.
But I rank my GOAT list by who was the better player.
I am not sure Kobe was more valuable then KG over a Career or who I'd pick first in a Draft.
#14.
KG : Post Season - PER
Peak : 25.5
Top 5 : 24.68
Top 7 : 24
#15.
Kobe : Post Season - PER
Peak : 26.8
Top 5 : 24
Top 7 : 23
Similar Production.. I'd say its somewhat close after the new hand check rules but b4 that I'd definitely take KG.

You can't use PER alone to determine who is a better player. It's a fine stat, but it's hardly perfect (no one stat is a perfect measure of a player).

Re: About this Wade > Kobe..
Wade could have had 3 titles by now barring injury and chokejob.

Very true, he should have 2FMVP's and 2 Rings if Lebron played better in 11 and if not for both him and Shaq getting injured in 05 they would have had a good chance at winning that year.
In a way yes. In the way most people look at it, no. And he probable never will have Kobe's 5 rings. But 09-10 Lebron was a better all alround player then Kobe has ever been if you ask me.
Hahha, the one that got owned by the Celts. Hell no, they so exposed him for the fraud he was. U think the Celts can contain Kobe like that. Nope... He was playing in a system that inflated his stats. He held the ball for 90% of the time.
Look at what happened when he joined a real team like the Heats. Wade was clearly the leader. And his stats when back to normal in a system where players shared the ball.
Re: About this Wade > Kobe..
Fvck You at Kobesexuals who even try to compare Kobe's chokejobs to Wade's dominating Finals performances. :facepalm
Wade as Finals performer is light years better than Kobe. Kobe's best Finals performance (09) came against an amateur, and piss poor defensive team(in the Finals). Magic allowed LA 100.6ppg. His teammates shot 50.5% from the field. He shot 43.0% from the field. When Kobe faced Boston the following year, which only allowed LA to score 90.6ppg, he played garbage (28.6ppg on 40.5fg%, 45.1efg%, 52.8ts% <----- Iversonian efficiency). The rest of his Finals performances are just atrocious (00, 01, 04, 08). In 02, Kobe had decent stats because Shaq opened a lot of space for other players. LA scored 106.0ppg on 50.5fg%.
How good Wade was in 06? In the last 4 games, his averages are:
ppg - 39.3 on 50.5fg%, 52.1efg%, 61,8ts%
rpg - 8.3
apg - 3.5
In the entire series, he averaged:
ppg - 34.7 on 46.8fg%, 47.8efg%, 57.2ts%
rpg - 7.8
apg -3.8
How good Wade was, before the injury, in 2011?
ppg - 28.4 on 57.6fg%, 61.4efg%, 64.3ts%
rpg - 6.8
apg - 5.0
In the entire series, he averaged:
ppg - 26.5 on 54.6fg%, 57.9efg%, 61.4ts%
rpg - 7.0
apg - 5.2
Wade>>>>>>>>>>>>Kobe Finals Performer?
Yes
Kobe>=Wade Finals Performer?

Re: About this Wade > Kobe..
SMH @ this moron comparing career stats..
I realize Kobe has almost a decade on wade in terms of how long they've been in the NBA. Which is exactly my point, I've seen way to many people on this forum saying Wade > Kobe carreer wise. Which is just plain Christopher Brian Bridges.
At this point in their career Wade might have a slight edge over Kobe due to his athleticism, but Kobe's been able to modify his game over the last few years to make him the most complete player in the NBA.
Some of you missed the point, its logical to argue Wade>Kobe as of 2011. But too many people on this site argue Wade>Kobe for their entire career. Which again is just plain Christopher Brian Bridges.
