then
gasol/1st round pick/filler for paul/emekas contract

in essence the young talent & picks that a player like gasol can command.

Or they throw in Okafor and his long bad contract and the lakers toss in Walton & Ebanks or something like that. Walton would prob retire so he'd come off their books.

Its the same as Shaq leaving the heat and completely trashing the organization. Ariza made himself appear as some sort of rape victim after we went after artest. His problem is that he cannot separate the business aspect from his hopes and desires. Do you think that 2 seasons away from the lakers made him mature? Lastly, Ariza was a triangle offense player.
