this is the stupidest shit I have heard ever. You think someone is gonna shut down an all star level player every game.. This is the NBA its not high school or college basketball where 90% of the players suck balls. These players are the best in the world and you think in order for someone to be a great defender they have to shut down players in every single game.. lebron shut down the best player on the other team for majority of the series thats better than what 99% of the SF's in the NBA could do.

Of course it is overrated. Just watch game four of the finals. 2-1 series lead, Heat up nine in the 4th quarter and he let Terry blow by him for four quick points without even making an attempt to stop him. It was pathetic. Mavs cut it to five, Heat immediately call timeout. Too late. Mavs go on to win the game and the series.
