:facepalm at Magic. BILL RUSSELL!!!!
Magic deserves a facepalm?
Who cares.. Does age matter here? You're older than me but you act like a kid and I'm pretty sure I act more mature than you, creating a lot of nonsense thread and sucking Wilt's Dick even tho his already dead..
You're the one who should left this board asshole, everyone here has the right for their own opinion. If you cant take mine then thats your problem..
Your problem isn't your young age, it's that you cannot accept that your opinion based on the newest fad(Kobe) will possibly not last forever.
You're promoting Kobe as the GOAT eventhough there was a player of the same style who did everything Kobe did('cept for 3pt shooting) but better.
If you had the same opinion being 30 years old people wouldn't point at your age, they'd point at your stupidity. Are you rather young or stupid? So don't see it as an insult.
When I was your age I was totally crazy about Shaq. For me Shaq was better than Jordan, way better. I would not accept a different opinion. Somewhere in time I found out that favourite doesn't equal best.
I still like the very same players I liked back then, but I accept that there are better players and you'll, too.
My vote goes to Magic Johnson.

It's also between Magic or Bill for me. Then maybe Wilt should round up the top 5.
Bill Russell.
Wilt
I will go with Magic Johnson
The way I look at it is if you are going to rank Basketball players, you need to do so based on three things:
1. Rings (A single player in BBall can be the difference between a ring or not)
2. Personal Stats
3. Impact on the game (changes in officiating rules, being emulated by younger players, etc.)
It is clear that Magic, Wilt and Russell should all be considered for the Top 3 slot. Russell and Magic have Wilt beat on the ring counter front. However, Wilt and Magic have Russell beat on the personal stats front. Finally, Magic and Wilt have Russell beat on the impact on the game front.
From the above, it is quite clear that Russell is last on my list out of the three. He has not had a lasting impact on the game. His personal stats are not very impressive and he won in a weaker era. Magic edges out Wilt because he has had a longer lasting impact on the game of basketball (no look passes, point forwards, PG playing multiple positions, Showtime, etc.) and won more rings. While Wilt had more stellar personal achievements in scoring and rebounding, the Magic man was no slouch himself. So, I have to go with Magic. The way I see it:
1. Michael Jordan
2. Kareem
3. Magic
4. Wilt
5. Bill Russell
