dirk deserved it more last year than he did this year. mavs regular season record despite the lack of any other true star on that roster is what propelled dirk to mvp. he did choke in the playoffs, but it is a regular season award. and as far as some dumbass making an argument of mavs record being a product of the other players despite dirk, well just take a look at phoenix, spurs, utah, and tell me who has more talent.
