I just saw deGrom has a 0.31 ERA. :oldlol:
He might actually be the most talented pitcher ever.

I need to only bet on the Super Bowl and that's it. This every day shit is bleeding me dry.
First time watching deGrom. Slider breaks at 93. Get right the f*ck out of here.
Tough loss for deGrom. I guess when he doesn't knock in a run, Mets won't score. Thinking this guy Lindor will be a bust, lol 10 year $340 million contract. It ain't my money but if the offense sucks, he's a damn big part of it.
deGrom throws a gem and gets absolutely no run support. Rough.
Markakis wasn't a superstar by any measure of WAR or OPS but he was a professional hitter. That lineup is missing his presence.

They’re 3rd in all of baseball in OBP and OPS. And Dansby and Ozuna haven’t even started hitting yet. The lineup is fine.
Pitching is the issue. It seems like every time we’re down and score runs to get back in it, the pitching immediately gives it back. Can’t sustain any momentum that way.

The Atlanta lineup is top heavy. Those OPS and OBP numbers are being carried by Acuna and Freeman right now. It has also helped to get Pache's nothing bat out of the lineup for 2 weeks.

That’s the thing though. The numbers are being borderline carried by 2 guys but the others, who are capable of more, haven’t started yet. Ozzie and Riley have begun to heat up and Ozuna and Dansby should be next.
Freddie and Acuņa have already kind of cooled off and the offense is sustaining.
We’re not getting what we need out of Smyly and Morton. And obviously the injuries to Soroka, Fried, Martin, and Newcomb have been killer.
Really bad loss for the Braves.
We’ve now played 4 extra inning games and have lost every one of them without scoring a single run. 4 times with a runner on second and no outs. ZERO runs. 4 losses.
Un fvcking believable

Jays get Springer to play now. They should catch up Red Sox sooner or later.

Yea they’re a really good team. When Ryu is back that’s a legit 95 win squad i think.
Doesn’t excuse the Braves’ bullshit
Grats to Means on his no-no  That fastball-changeup duo was doing work.
Mets gave Lindor a 10 year $340 million contract without him even playing a game for them. I know everyone would be clowning them if they didn't sign him before the season and he was struggling (hmmmm he must be pressing because he hasn't gotten paid yet!). But what the hell are they supposed to do when this guy busts? 10 years of this bum? At least move him to the 8th-9th spot in the lineup.
Angels just released Albert Pujols. End of an era? One last go around with the Cards?
