19 dimes in a WNBA game is crazy work. And her team was 6-25 from 3. So most of those passes involved creativity and were probably for layups, not simple kickouts. It's amazing given their lack of athleticism women still can't shoot.
Clark is basically the woman version of Steve Nash + steph curry. Everybody knew her long range ability off the dribble was chef like but this assist angle is next level.

WNBA games are funny as hell man. Shawk can probably attest to this play last night, but I did tune in for a few minutes myself since there was nothing else to watch. But I think Caitlin had passed it to one of her teammates in the corner for a three, and this girl shot it, and just stood there admiring the worst brick ever as it clanked off the side of the rim. She had ample time and space to follow her shot and go for the rebound, but she just stood there with her arm still in the air in the follow-through position. It was hilarious. The amount of bricks these girls throw up is unreal.

She also threw probably 3-4 perfect behind the back passes underneath for assists. Her passing skill and accuracy is crazy.
From watching her in college her passing ability is what impressed me even more than her shooting
If she wasn't surrounded with such trash teammates she'd easily be averaging 10+ assists

she will next year and this year out.
Her teammates aren't that trash. I haven't watched every minute of every game, but I check up on it enough. In their right positions, they have a little squad. Their front line is good (but young.) Boston, their C is learning how to play even better, and their PF, Smith, is another rebounder/finisher type. They gave it to Smith on the break and she double dribbled, though, so she's not ready to do all that.
Then they got this little girl, Kelsey Mitchell, who is like Barbosa or Ivo, just nasty and fast. She is a dog, too. She blocked someone to secure a win recently. She's like 5'9. But she crosses so well. GOBB was talking about Arike being a walking bucket, but this girl is saucy as hell, too. They have enough to get it right, I think. People do need to make their shots, but so does Caitlin. They are doing really well considering how badly they started. Like I told GOBB, she's gonna get 20 pts 10 assist average and that's GOAT level in WNBA imo. Even with 5 turnovers, if it comes to that.
It's kinda like wow at some of the weirdo shit they do sometimes, but it's not bad. The whole team is throwing good passes. It's worth watching for awhile. Better than NO basketball.
Edit: also gonna be funny if team USA gets dogged tonight.

The first player in WNBA history to record 50+ points and 25+ assists in a single two-game stretch.
Caitlin Clark is a PROBLEM

This isn't like MJ. It's like Wilt. She is about to set the bar for a lot of stats.
I kinda wish she wasn't white so people would understand how next level her game is. She's just getting started, too.
Her team fits her, too. I was reading them talk about Smith and how they need to trade her cuz she was a volume scorer, but I think she'd done great off cuts and Caitlin can make all sorts of passes. Smith / Boston / Mitchell. That's plenty. They can build around that easy. I wouldn't dump Smith unless you got something really good back.
Next year, they will probably be contending.
Edit: once you see Smith and Boston being physical and protecting Clark, you will know it's over. That's definitely the perfect front line for her.
