KG did help turn around the Celtics in the 3rd Quarter before he left the game. He came out of the half then scored on 3-4 possessions prior picking up the fouls and the techs.

Look where they were getting the ball. Its pretty hard to send a double or a trap when the offensive player is in the middle of the floor. Because your going to leave someone wide open deep or underneath, and seeing as how House and Ray were out there with Paul the double was never going to come. Carlisle was playing the percentages and hoping that PP, who really wasn't shooting very well for the majority of this game, would shoot himself into a cold streak rather than leave House or Ray open to blow open the game. Remember the Mavs were struggling mightily to put the ball in the basket and couldn't afford to let the lead swell too far.

Good game all around. Some bad calls took out Howard and Dirk basically was going 1 on 5 down the stretch offensively. Pierce hit some tough shots, give him credit. KG showed once again why he's not as good as Nowitzki.

Dirk needs to be traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He ain't going to be win an NBA Championship as the number one option of his team.

thats stupid. they didnt lose tonight b/c he is the #1 option. They lost b/c nobody else on the team could hit a bucket. They only have 3 legit scorers and Terry was out with a broken hand.

its funny because of all the complaining the celtics did about the refs, the refs ended up keeping them in the game. No biggie, i expected to lose this game anyway. Props to paul pierce and rondo. i didnt plan on the refs deciding to hand the celtics the game after that but hey its cool. everyone knows kg is a *****. Its not a new fact or anything. The top 10 comment is new but hes a 16 and 9 player thats a good but not nearly as great as hes made out to be defender.

They're just upset b/c they choked away a game they shouldve easily won.....again.

No he wasn't a terrible defender. Dirk is a great offensive player, all KG can do is try to make him work a little bit for his points. But once he gets it going, defense is pretty irrelevant. So to point out that since he was torching him, KG' now less of a defender is pretty disingenuous. KG got Dirk in Boston, Dirk obviously remembered that, was bothered by it and got KG back. But KG' team got two wins :pimp:
