The bold parts are wrong. Lebron should have a much more effective post game for his size. Much, much more.

His face up game is just as ineffective. Lebron is not the type of player who should get the ball, isolated, slow down the offense and make a play. Usually ends up in the terrible shot, turnover, bailout three and the ofcourse the bail out whistle. In conclusion thought, it's not good. And it's not something he should be doing. Especially with a team like Miami, plays should be run for him, pnr, pnp etc etc. No reason why he should settle for his weak back-to-basket/face-to-face games.

And just because Bosh is out doesn't mean he should 'dust off' his 'post game'. Wade is much better in the post anyways, he should've been in there especially when Feilds or Gallinari couldn't guard him, but Lebron went into hero mode and Wade was forced to work off the ball and made Wade irrelevant in the fourth. These were reasons for the loss. Lebron trying to do something out of the ordinary and it resulted in him being ineffective and eventually Wade became a victim.

Are we watching the same players? Now i know he didnt look like a master last game, but that statement is mindbogling, have you seen him in Cleveland or previous games? He makes wonders from isolations, he either gives you an assist or scores, that is how it "mostly" looked like sorry to say.

Plus i dont understand this "isolation" talk, he is not a traditional SF/SG/wingplayer where you just give him the ball and wait for him to score, he is a point-forward, when you give a point-forward back the ball you give him the ball the same way you give your pointguard the ball, you give him the ball to create a play, to playmake, not to just score! Thats not necessarily an ISO!

Those "weak" back-to-basket/face-to-face games have worked pretty well in the past, especially when it mattered, dont mind Phongs gifs, he didnt show you when he humiliated for example Ron Artest all season long down there last season, thats just one example of many.

Why not? The first game he did "dust-off" (the previous game) he looked phenomenal there (sorry, Phong didnt bother to make GIF's out of those) so there is no "proof". :rolleyes:
Hence why Lebron felt confident going there this game aswell and rightfully so but he was completely off, he missed the shots not because of a "bad post game", he missed shots simply because he missed the shots, do we call him a bad finisher and jumpshooter for also missing those entirely open layups and jumpshots to?

Do you know what a face up game is? I don't think so, because you say he gets most of his points from here. This tells me alot about your knowledge towards the game and Lebron's game. Lebron gets most of his points working within an offensive set. Pick and roll, pick and pop, zip cuts, off the ball, catch and drive etc etc.

When he gets the ball isolated on the wings or corners, slows down the offense, little to no off ball movement, he is almost completely ineffective. This is where he decides to either post-up or try something from his face-up game. He screws up quite often here.

I have. I should be asking you this, do you know how Lebron scores? Because isolation is not his #1 choice, not at all, nor should it be. Isolation plays are the reason why he's shooting -3%-4%. Which is not a big problem, but not something you'd expect from someone of Lebron's size and talent.

Humiliated Ron Artest? I remember one play where his posted Ron up and it resulted in a basket. The others were setting picks for Artest to get him out of the picture, and when that didn't work either refs tookover or Lebron used his speed to his advantage. Honestly do you even watch these games?

He was making the layups and dunks. You saw near the end he got 3-4 feild goals because he chose not to isolate! Most of his baskets, if not all came from outside his post-up and face-up game!

If another defender rushes over to double team you, a teammate should cut and receive a pass for a wide open layup. If the your defender sags off too much, BOOM!, you rise up for the open jumper. What if the defense is too tight? Put the ball on the deck and take a hard jab step to the basket.

This is what Lebron is excellent at.
