The owner was almost in tears while announcing the new coach.......

Funny that the a good portion of the movie was filmed in Utah.
Wow, who could have predicted this happening? Especially after just signing a extension.
Sad that he had a falling out with players (D.Will in particular), and management. As good a coach as Sloan was, I guess it's time for a change. Jazz have really struggled the last two months.
He signed an extension two days ago!
Severance pay. Seriously.
It's obviously because of the players. What other reason would he retire mid season?
**** Deron Williams. And AK then. That's my prime suspects.
**** Deron Williams. And AK then. That's my prime suspects.
Pretty sure AK and Sloan are really tight.
Kermit the Frog the next head coach of the UTah Jazz
Lotta BS here. Nobody just signs an extension for a year and then suddenly resign from his post. There was definitely something that was brewing within the team and the organization and it finally reached its boiling point.
I hope Utah sucks and players like D-Will realize that the world isn't revolved around them
Pretty sure AK and Sloan are really tight.
Didn't he make AK cry in front of reporters?
Pretty sure AK and Sloan are really tight.
Didn't AK want to head to Russia a few seasons ago because he missed it/was tired of Sloan? Plus he has that douchebag hair.

BUMP
"BEST SONG EVER"
On this other forum someone posted a thread entitled "When will Jerry Sloan finally retire/get fired" 2 days ago and now that this is happening it made it even that more unreal to me.
Kermit the Frog the next head coach of the UTah Jazz
That's so f*cked up...lol
Didn't AK want to head to Russia a few seasons ago because he missed it/was tired of Sloan? Plus he has that douchebag hair.
Can't remember, I can't think of any specific examples, I just have the idea in my head that they're close, don't know why or where I heard it.
Who is the old lady?
Ty Corbin is the best coach to take over the position.
Now you guys cant call us racist. We have the blackest coach in the NBA
Who is the old lady?
Larry H millers widow
**** Deron Williams. And AK then. That's my prime suspects.
It's definitely Deron. He's been complaining about Sloan's offense all season, when he really should be freaking out at Jefferson for still not getting it after all this time.
What's Hornacek's role in the organization?
Why is D-Wil being blamed when they are saying no one pushed Jerry out?
I've always been under the impression though that Sloan and D-will weren't fond of each other, but rather tolerated each other. Because his rookie year he wanted to flip him for Kirk Hinrich.
**** Deron Williams. And AK then. That's my prime suspects.
I think AK was one of the players who met with Sloan and the coaching staff after last night's game. Probably had their moment together...
I can't believe they gave Ty Corbin a 23 year contract. Seems a bit much to me.
Props for Sloan keeping it professional.
What's Hornacek's role in the organization?
He was brought on as a shooting coach. He didnt travel with the team and only worked with them in the off season.(helped ak with his shot) Rumor has it that he will be on the coaching staff as an assistant.
I think AK was one of the players who met with Sloan and the coaching staff after last night's game.
Yeah I read he was the last to leave.

Just read an article on ESPN that he and Deron haven't been getting along lately.
But seriously, for dude to sign the extension two days ago then just say f*ck it im outa here something must have went down. Seriously. If he was just tired of coaching he would have stuck it out for the rest of the year. Something must have happened.

You can tell by Sloan's demeanor and tone that there's more to this.
When will the Utah Jazz coaching revolving door end? This team needs some stability.
Well done sir, well done. :applause:
:D
I'm starting to dislike Deron williams immensely, the interviews where he sounded liked a prima donna and now this.
Yeah I read he was the last to leave.
I'm think it was more of a last good bye thing but who knows.
Pretty sure AK and Sloan are really tight.
AK was seen leaving the coaches room after the Bulls game yesterday, he was the only player who was let in there. I'm pretty sure he was told yesterday by Sloan he was leaving.
Lotta BS here. Nobody just signs an extension for a year and then suddenly resign from his post. There was definitely something that was brewing within the team and the organization and it finally reached its boiling point.
Sloan always signs the extension and then makes up his mind if he's returning in the off-season. His extension was signed over a month ago but was only just announced recently.
If Sloan lost the players there's really nothing that can be done. Easier to replace a coach then the entire team.
Wonder if Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis will turn out like Jerry and Phil

wow Jerry Sloan is so classy , aslo not moving to another team
I'm think it was more of a last good bye thing but who knows.
So do I, I guess. I just remember reading that AK was at odds with him years ago that's why I said that. Right or wrong who knows! but I'm soling blaming D-will.
Corbin's like Jesus, couldn't at least give me a day's notice? Guy's shellshocked.

What did Sloan win?
