Re: Parents Reacting To Son Being Gay
What precaution do you recommend to not get raped?
Common sense.
Don't get drunk at a party to the point that you pass out. It would be nice if you could trust drunk men not to take advantage of you, but unfortunately a percentage of people are scum who will.
It's not about "blaming" the victim. It's the simple reality that you can't trust everyone else to not be a scumbag. It would be nice if we lived in a world where cars and houses didn't need locks. You're not to "blame" if your car gets stolen, but given the choice you'd obviously rather your car have locks than not.
When you have kids, will you tell them to not trust stangers or will you just say to yourself "No, I won't tell him to be safe. If he gets killed by a pedo, all that matters is who gets the blame"?
What you're doing is distorting stories in the bible. If God had a person or group of people killed, it was because they desereved it.
Re: Parents Reacting To Son Being Gay
Yes they can. People can choose to like guys the same way they choose to like girls. This is not a born vs. not-born gay debate. I'm simply saying that there are plenty of gay people that chose to be gay because they just like guys more so than women. However, the ones that have the weird voice and walk strange are born gay.
If you're saying that 100% of gay people are born gay, then you are being delusional. Some of those in the 100% chose that path.
