It's a shame too because in a real fight where you can throw kicks and wrestle Francis would absolutely destroy these guys.

Why is that a shame? Boxing is a sport that people train specifically in. Why does it matter who would win a "real" fight?
Because a real fight doesn't handicap you to just throwing punches. Boxers would get absolutely wrecked in a real fight with an MMA pro because their scope of fighting is extremely myopic. Francis could end these dudes with leg kicks or slams no problem. He had the balls to go into their arena but they would NEVER go into his. :lol

Yea dude…I understand the difference between boxing and MMA. I’m just wondering why that matters. Michael Jordan was more athletic than all of those AA baseball players. That doesn’t make him better at baseball, and bringing up overall athleticism in that case, as you’ve done here overall fighting, just seems salty.

At the end of the day it's about getting paid. Which is why Francis made the move as you mentioned. Why fight tooth and nail for peanuts?

i was not impressed with benavidez in his latest bout. he's too slow, it helps that he has a strong jaw and can take hits but he moves so fcking slow. his opponent was fast but still, B moves like he has cement bags attached to his legs.
