Adam Cole has done all contractual commitments, with NXT Takeover 36 being the last, and his contract reportedly is about to expire this Friday.
WWE reportedly is also trying to re-sign him, but seeing trends within WWE Cole would prefer to go somewhere else i.e. AEW where his old friends and his wife are working there.
Jim Ross is transitioning out of the commentating role in AEW. It reportedly is his own call, and he likely is gonna be used in other different roles or commentating on special occasions.
Awesome Kong has officially announced her retirement from pro wrestling on the recent NWA show with her greatest rival Gail Kim.
The last time she wrestled was on AEW and she was there for a very short while before injuries and her GLOW filming schedule caught up with her.
According to Tony Khan, it was Mark Henry who brought Giannis to Dynamite/Rampage tapings in Milwaukee last Wednesday.
Henry is one of the best in pro wrestling at scouting right now. He is the guy who recruited Bianca Belair, Braun Strowman and Apollo Crews to WWE. He also discovered Jade Cargill and she did have an unsuccessful try-out with WWE.
Baylor vs Reigns is going to be a great feud.
Baylor vs Reigns is going to be a great feud.
While I love Fergal "Finn Baylor" Davitt, I don't think he will go any further than he already is, a former Raw champion. Finn is like a more athletic, less charismatic and less creative Daniel Bryan. He has been very successful in NXT but not so much in the main roster for that reason.
Finn vs Roman can happen sooner or later but I don't know how WWE can make it interesting enough to sell big.
Trevor Murdoch has finally dethroned Nick Aldis' 3-years reign as NWA World Heavyweight champion and become the new champion. :applause:

It's probably best for him but not for WWE. I read a stat the other day that it has been 5 years since KO's run as the champ. 5 years! :(

Matt Cardona's (former Zack Ryder) new GCW World Heavyweight Championship belt, completed with a spinner and Velcro straps designed to make indie fans seethe.:roll:
NXT will soon be produced by Vince McMahon and Bruce Pritchard.
RIP NXT

People that know her tried to contact her after the live stream was offline with no avail. They tried to get to her place but she just moved her home few weeks ago and next to nobody knew her new address. :(
3 well-known names in women's wrestling commit suicide in 3 years; Ashley Massaro, Kimura Hana and now Daffney. :(
RIP
Suicide is not the option. There always are helps.

WWE reportedly signed US Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson. Huge get that could be even better if he is naturally talented as a pro wrestler as Kurt Angle.
Bryan Danielson is #AllElite!! :lebronamazed:
Adam Cole is also #AllElite!! :lebronamazed:
Mox vs Suzuki Minoru this Wednesday! :lebronamazed:
AEW has been doing amazing jobs with almost all the talents they have got so far, especially new talents and WWE rejects. Darby and MJF are now drawing mainstream viewers. Miro and Black are badasses again. And more! :applause::rockon:

Probably an overreaction but bucks and lucha bros match felt like one of the 10 best matches I've ever seen.

Bucks have been in so many GOAT modern pro wrestling matches in recent years, and they don't seem to slow down when healthy at all.
Bucks vs FTR
Bucks vs Kenny & Hangman
Bucks vs PAC & Fenix
Bucks vs Lucha Bros 2 years ago
Even Bucks vs Mox & Kingston, Bucks vs SCU or Bucks vs Jurassic Express were very good.
So AEW couldn't secure Europe's "The Final Countdown" thanks to the cost of $50k per usage and ended up using "Flight of the Valkyries" rendition instead. :ohwell:

Get well soon, HHH.
Big E cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase, beat Bobby Lashley and won WWE title last night on Raw, 9 years after being promoted to the main roster. Congratulation!! :applause:
This reportedly was a last minute change though since it supposed to happen in October's WWE Draft show.

so you think it's a good thing to give mid card guys the wwe title just cause they've been around for a long time
Kofi and big E winning the same title that bret hart and stone cold won isn't good for the prestige of the title. it's becoming as degraded as the big gold world heavyweight championship was before it became defunct
tbh the universal title has a better lineage over the past 4 years.
the wwe title has guys like jinder winning it and these bums. its officially trash
guess who's won the aew title so far after almost 3 years
jericho, moxley and omega
that's how you make a lineage people can respect

E and Kofi, as parts of New Day, have been over for years, great merchandise movers, consistent and well-respected in-ring workers, and great PR guys for WWE. Vince does reward these folks once in a while. Otherwise, guys like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio or even Dolph Ziggler would never win the big ones.
Jinder winning was purely marketing purpose, which failed badly since he is no Khali (not really Indian).

the new day is just too cool 2.0
nobody thought about putting the wwe championship on Scotty too hotty just cause they were popular

Too Cool was just a platform for pushing Rikishi though. They are not like New Day at all.

the new day is a comedy routine. theyre exactly like too cool lol.. its literally the same 3 man act with 2 skinny guys and one big guy
they dance and get the crowd involved. they're repetitive and like you said it's to get one of them an eventual push. only thing is the new day got 2 and too cool just had one
What did you guys think of the new Dark Side of the Ring Episode? Ric Flair comes out of it looking pretty bad imo. Same with Dreamer for his comments. :facepalm

Ric's helicoptor d*ck thing wasn't and hasn't been new among pro wrestling community before and after the plane incident.
Tommy trying to defend Ric probably knowing he will be cancelled is new to a lot of us fans though.
Anyway, Undertaker, maybe JBL and maybe some others during 2000's WWE era will be on the chopping block next this Thursday with Chris Kanyon episode.

Bron looks like his dad Rick and sounds like his uncle Scott. Such a travesty WWE doesn't let him use Steiner name.
Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson

The roar, man.
And the match itself could easily be the best TV match of 2021.

ric and Shawn are sexual predators that belong in jail. hogan's racist.. bret is the true goat. he actually took the business seriously and was a REAL world champion as Vince put it.

JR said the most honest thing in that episode when they asked why naich didn't get fired. Something like "like it or not... when you're ric flair there's a different set of rules than there is for everyone else."

Yeah, Ric then got DUI'ed, but instead of being punished or fired WWE then used it in a storyline with Edge.
That different set of rules also applies to the Samoans (see Jimmy Snuka and Jimmy Uso).
Daniel Garcia's has wrestled CM Punk, Alex Shelley, Minoru Suzuki, Davey Richards, and Christopher Daniels within a span of a week. He arguably is the hottest young talent in indie scene right now.
AEW Rampage actually beat WWE Smackdown on 18-49 demo ratings. Smackdown extended 30 minutes into Rampage 10PM territory with Becky-Sasha and Lesnar against Rampage's CM Punk match and lost. WWE TV show losing to a competitor hasn't happened since 1998 :lebronamazed:
