The market and Tesla in particular are surging because it looks like Trump might hold off on tariffs that affect the auto industry. He either saw the writing on the wall or Elon talked him out of it.
I would still stay way clear of Tesla stock though because it is already way over priced and their sales are plummeting. Not just in the US but across the globe.
Maybe if the market fully recovers Trump will then announce tariffs are back lol.

Toyota is only worth $350 Billion despite having like 4X more revenue than Tesla.
It makes zero sense, especially when considering that Toyota even has more EV growth than Tesla.

It's stock, do you know how many times in the last two decades I have seen it drop? I don't care... fluctuations happen. it doesn't matter until I am ready to start pulling. My retirement is not based on stock, it's based lots of passive income and it's diversified.

Well, it certainly sucks for the millions near retirement age, they're screwed. And if this crash is what many economists are predicting, the dollar might not be the world's go to currency anymore and that's gonna be a clusterf*ck of epic proportions.
Yes don't worry it's just stock. Thank God we still have tariff inflation, mass layoffs, and high unemployment to look forward to. So no need for any negativity.
REITS are a decent buy right now. They won't be as sexy as picking stock, but with the FED announcing int rate reduction ~mid next month and the obvious economic downturn we're going into it's going to be a consistent and safe place to have your money.
