The more I watch and the older I get the more I realize that situation is such a huge thing for young quarterbacks. I mean...that's obvious, but the way they are handled and the coaching and culture around them is [I]everything.[/I]

I mean look at Darnold, Baker, Daniel Jones, etc. These guys were absolute busts and now are all solid to good starters in situations that suit them and their skillsets/mindsets better.

With Lawrence, it's almost not even a "maybe" thing anymore. From an eye test standpoint he is playing absolutely fantastic. The physical talent has always been there and now with a competent coach things are going better. Again, I'll wait to hold final judgement, but he looks really good.

I mean maybe just maybe as in will we see this Trevor from here on out? Will this be the norm going forward. You’re right about situations. It matters a lot. He had the Jags rollin.

The guy in the stands is definitely a bozo but Metcalf has so much more to lose, it's not like he was over in the area coincidentally and the fan made first contact and he reacted.

He got baited into walking over TO the fan, pulling him halfway over the railing and then taking a swing at him, which granted looked like an intentionally missed swing just to send a message the way Shaq used to do to Barkley and Brad Miller. But still... such a stupid decision. Created so much unnecessary trouble for himself.

Makes a ton of sense. The pats? No brainer. Don’t see any other coach competing with that. Maybe B.Johnson. But what the Pats have done I didn’t expect to happen.

Stafford and MVP go together but I want Drake Maye to win it. Not arguing Stafford doesn’t deserve it. It’s just something about a young QB taking total control of a team and winning. 12-3 after winning what 4 games last season? I’m just a fan of those type of turnarounds. And Drake is playing at an elite level. He’s a big reasons for the turnaround. With the coach of the year it seems like a perfect marriage (mvp). Potentially could finish the season 14-3. Crazy.
