Not only that, but he had some lackey in his entourage make the call. He didn't even do it himself... He could have at least given Carter the job of telling them.

The guys from Akron in his entourage were the ones telling him not to do it this way. They actually seemed like the voice-of-reason throughout that PR disaster. Mav Carter is an idiot, obviously... But those other Akron guys may be the only ones keeping him grounded in the least (and even they don't seem successful in doing that).

Yeah, your right I just reread the article. Jesus Christ! Lebron is either really self-absorbed or is just a plain dumbass, this is just common sense. Yeah, Cavs fans are going to hate you no matter what, but this was just adding fuel to the fire by doing it on TV.
