Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
He looks like he would need some conditioning just to be as good as Omer Asik.
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
I still have yet to see any of these hyped up Euro players be a success in the NBA. More hype then anything. Same thing happens every year and same results happen.

They are some of the best players in the NBA. Where have you been? :wtf:
Euros busting are no different than college kids/HSers who were hyped up busting. Some make it, others dont.

Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
Seems like this kid is getting by on his potential. After watching this video, it looks like he's doing pretty well in a pretty shitty league. He's extremely raw at this point, and if you're taking this guy in the top five, it just shows how bad this draft really is. I hope the Raptors stay away from him.
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
If you get sold on a prospect after watching a 3 minute video your on CRACK.
The LKL is a horrible level of competition. It is by far and away one of the very worst leagues in Europe - barely even at a pro level. This thread is retarded.
Clown :oldlol:
This year, he is competing in the highest level of European basketball in the Euroleague as well, and ranks as one of the top players in the competition on a per-40 minute basis in points (21.8), rebounds (13.6), blocks (1.8), field goal percentage (74.4%), free throw percentage (87.5%), and fouls (9.1).
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
If he can play Noah like defense with the offense he brings to the table, he'll be sick! The one issue is obviously the buyouts
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
Jonas is a 6'11 "dude" who plays like he's 6-11.
F*ck outta here with this garbage comparison. :oldlol:
I'd have to agree here, every scouting report on Valanciunas starts off by calling him a guy who does his damage at the rim
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
Looks like a Nesterovich type.
Re: If you're not sold on Jonas Valanciunas after watching this, you're on CRACK
Wtf did you see in him? He made some close shots around the basket, and contested some shots at the other end, was pretty much just another big tall guy. He's post moves considered of awkwardly backing down and finishing with a job hook, no way he'd be able to do this in the NBA as his body just doesn't have the strength by the looks of it. And this is one of his best games??

Blah blah blah.
You could make a lot of guys look better than they are by using a per 40 minute basis.
Try again.
