Those low 1st round picks come in a deep draft. The last time we had a great draft ('03) the bottom 10 picks included Boris Diaw, Leandro Barbosa and Josh Howard.
Wow...Congrads to all Nuggets fans!!!
When Melo gets back this should be fun to watch.
i personally think 76ers got ripped off, big time...they got joe smith and miller, basically for AI .... those picks are going to be no good, because theyre going to be in the 20's....poor 76ers....nice job King....Denver is my new 2ND fav team
Ok, I take back my earlier statement... I was hasty in my reading and thought the Sixers would be getting J.R. Smith... but no... Joe Smith... Are you kidding? :oldlol:
So... what happens in a month when AI feels it's his team and Melo returns to retake the team? I'm not saying that they can't co-exsist, I'm just saying that it'll be interesting...
Joe Smith = cap expirer. Sixers dont need another SG.

Translation "Damn, now Utah is gonna have to fight for this division. Melo + AI? Ugh, great!"
"Certainly they will be?" They're currently 10th and don't have Anthony or Smith for several games. Also, they have to take time figuring Iverson out because they've got a new starting point guard now.
the fact that we are currently 10th overall nba is so shocking i didnt believe it at first. everything that can go wrong, has for us. and yet we are still 10th? wow.
this season, probably...but they're getting three first rounders in most hyped draft class for some time (along with 2003). also, it's make it or break it for iggy, dalembert, korver, green and so on. if there's any true potential in them, this will bring it out.
It will bring the talent out. AI is a ball hog, as is Melo. So that will be funny to watch. But Korver, Dalembert, and Iggy will all see their #'s skyrocket. As soon as Miller starts playing as a Sixer, you will see this.
wow... AI for Andre Miller. sixer fans consider your franchise over. they couldn't even get Camby.
Iverson
JR
Melo
Nene
Camby
extremely deadly team right there. although I dont know about JR on a team with 2 30ppg guys. doesn't really fit.
Joe Smith is a nice backup pf, and a lockerroom leader. Exactly the kind of guy a young rebuilding team should hope to keep around. He'll probably leave for a contendor after this season, but the Sixers would be fools not to offer him a couple million and hope he stays.
I say JR averages 12 points a game from here on out.
The Nuggz had something, from the street, going with JR Smith and Melo. Now you've thrown a huge wrench into the equation with Iverson. This could be a move the Nuggz regret months from now. I'm not so sure the Nuggz didn't make this move, in part, to get talk of the brawl to subdue. They can't have their franchise player looking like a thug to all of America. They had to throw a wrench into play and now everyone is talking about Iverson in a Denver uniform. It works well in the short term. We'll see how it works out long term.

They could have turned around and gotten more for JR Smith than the 7 million Joe Smith gets them, and though the draft will be deep in 07, it's still Iverson we're talking about... Andre Miller, Joe Smith, and picks for Iverson... it just sounds wrong... lol, unfair.
