Reverse pivot--favorite move of his. Been trying this for a couple years now and it still looks mad sloppy lol.
Keep trying them and you will wind up blowing out your knees and ankles..
Anything from Melo or Pierce?
Melo signature spin

LeBron literally moving like a crab :oldlol:

You want real help. Study 2 or 3 players if you want to get better. And when I say study, I mean really study. Watch how well Kobe keeps his foot planted without sliding it or moving it while executing a ball fake in the post, or a reverse pivot, etc.

Maybe if LeBron works on flexibility ... especially last season ... he wouldn't look so stiff and wooden.
and finally jab step 101, using defenders momentum against him perfectly

The Jordan move ... nicely done. This is one of the few moves I have trouble with. I simply don't have the length to sell it as well as these guys. I can do it with an approaching pick to fake a defender out. But on its own its a difficult move.

Most never realized that Shaq had some great footwork for such a big dude.. :applause:
One question I have is are you really allowed to pivot after a hop-step or a jump-stop or w.e it's called?
I don't know so I never use it, but I think I should, seems like a really imbalanced move since you can technically hop-step off the dribble in a different direction from which you're originally going right?

He's the only player I study, lol. I watch most of his moves and I really see how he keeps his pivot foot. Maybe I should also play soccer.

No, that counts as everything ... you can only go up straight up after a jump step or hop step. Because you're planting both feet and picking up your dribble.

Alright, that's what I was thinking too.
And by definition it's basically when you leave the ground with both feet and gather the ball while in the air before landing right?
edit: and then land with both feet. ?
