To me, right now, it's a debate between Wilt, Bird, Kobe and Duncan in those 5-8 spots. If Duncan is able to make a big run here and win a title (in this year no less) it does give him a big plus in his column.

I can agree with this. A championship and Finals MVP will automatically put Duncan in the Top 5 All-Time GOATs; bumping both Bird and Wilt. A title, he would most likely bump Bird at #6.
And Duncan is the 2nd best player on the Spurs this season so I don't know how he can just be considered a "role player" by some people here.

The person you are agreeing with labelled Duncan as such. Funny.
You can never count the Spurs out until it actually happened. They actually are contending for the top seed in Western Conference now.
Spurs don't need the #1 seed. I mean hypothetically HCA in the WCF would be nice but we shouldn't even be thinking that far at all. I'm looking to get the best first round matchups possible right now.

Keep sleeping on them.

spurs dont need the #1 seed but it sure could help.
If the Spurs win their 5th title this year how will that affect your all-time rankings of Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, and Pop?
+1 for all of them
