You're way wrong on this. Hubie is amazing and should be in every marquee matchup on ESPN.
Carr is almost as terrible Clyde Drexler. Almost.

Re: Hubie Brown thread
So we can see here now that this is the Hubie Brown thread. Ok, so you say to yourself "Well why is this the Hubie Brown thread?" Well mainly because it's fun to talk like Hubie Brown. Now we know that when you have a forum, and a person who talks a certain way, it's just going to be natural to put them together ok. Mainly because that's just what we like to do. But now watch right here, you can see how I'm making a thread about Hubie Brown while talking like Hubie Brown. Now that's impressive.
I can't stand how this guy says "Teague" properly but can't pronounce "league" properly. It's the same f*cking pronunciation.

Re: Hubie Brown thread
pivot is the term I think of when it comes to Hubie Brown
it's not 'minor' adjustments to a plan
but the little details that others might take advantage of that he sharpens off
he'll help you raise the awareness about your game and others
probably doesn't fully buy into the statistical analysis of a player
but the statistical analysis of the game
compare him to someone like George Karl
and I think you have two very different approaches to shot clock
edit: has anyone ever done a clutch stat on coaches
and the famous 82games.com stats, FG% at 20+sec 14+sec etc.

Re: Hubie Brown thread
Hubie is the ****ing best. I like Fratello more but real talk hubie has stories for days and was a hell of a players coach. Joy to listen to since I was born.
My list goes like this:
1. The Czar of the Telestrator
(Mike Fratello for all you unknowing, godless, unworthy ones)
2. Hubie Brown
3. Jeff Van Gundy
Everybody the f#@k else.
This man knows what he's talking about.
With JVG not being on ESPN anymore and Hubie retiring, ESPN is now the home of the lames.
I have Fratello last of the 3, but I can't argue with that list.

Re: Hubie Brown thread
look, this is a classic thread, you see? Now, you may ask yourself, "why isn't this thread stickied?" on this board, you need to finish strong. Letting this thread go since january just isn't going to get it done.
Ps - hubie is great. In fact, most of espn's nba people are much, much better than tnt's.
sticky this, until they give hubie brown another contract ! Nicca still sharp at 91, no biden dementia here.
