(3) Lakers vs. (6) Timberwolves First Round Playoff Series Thread

Wolves are Game 1 gladiators. Long series.

Anytime the Wolves get 20+ from McDaniels OR something like a 17 point half from Reid OR hitting their threes they're going to be stomping on someone. All of those things happened.

yeah, who would pick L.A. versus a Minnesota team that had a lot of their key players injured for half of the season and now with a full healthy roster...they're a huge problem. still have near identical records to the 3rd seed lakers with injuries most of the season.

Lakers gave me a pleasant surprise so far. If I'm wrong on this series I won't mind it one bit. James and Reaves have not done much of this is supposed to be a big 3. Though again they should have just rode Doncic when he was hot now he's just coasting. There is still over a whole quarter to come back but they're going to have to play great defense.

With Edwards out this is still very much a game LA can win.

Edwards injury coudl spice this series up. 6 or 7 games if Edwards is out for the series.

Yep, and if the Bucks lose game 2 I'll give kudos to the Pacers and admit I was wrong. Not deflect. I have no issues admitting when I'm wrong and giving props where it's due.

Go back to telling us what a magnetizing series the Bucks and Pacers is.

I mean it's a game of runs. Lakers made a small run. It's not going to change the result at the end imo. Wolves got a nice lead and it'd take a Doncic legendary run to come back, like jaw dropping legendary perforamance.
